Misleading experience. The picture is not accurate and we were not told the "restaurant" closes at 6, so it's not really open for dinner. Instead, they accept your reservation and tell you you can sit in the busy loud bar and that you may order from the "room service menu" for which there is no physical copy, but you can go on your phone and order from that. I expected more from a 5 star luxury hotel. Had I know this I would have made reservations at a real restaurant in advance.
I visited La Maisonette for the Ladurée holiday afternoon tea and had been genuinely excited to go, especially as it was my birthday and I've always enjoyed afternoon tea experiences in London. Unfortunately, I left feeling somewhat uncomfortable — and at moments, even subtly racially profiled. Despite arriving before several other guests, my family and I waited noticeably longer to be seated, and a lot of those who arrived after us were shown to their tables first. When we were eventually taken to our table, we were placed in the back of the restaurant. I'm not sure whether this was intentional, but it added to the discomfort. The table was also not fully set, and we lacked several of the utensils needed for afternoon tea. We had to repeatedly ask our server to bring the missing items. On a positive note, our waiter was pleasant and did her best to assist us, which helped improve an otherwise disappointing experience.
It was a disappointing experience. They had just finished breakfast. They vacuumed and clanked dishes and glassware the entire time we were in the room. There was no break from them setting up for the afternoon tea service. Food was mediocre. I think they're living on a legend.
Excellent presentation. TJ and Arman our servers made our experience totally over the top. Thank You !!!
We made a reservation on OpenTable for High tea at this restaurant for a holiday experience for six family members. Somehow we were allowed to make this reservation, however, La Maisonette was not open for high tea at this time. Instead, we were put inside the drawing room, which was a very non-descript room in the middle of a bunch of service stations, and we were greeted by a hostess, who was extremely rude and certainly did not reflect the level of service or style. I would expect from the St Regis. It was surprising to see how touristy the St Regis is, not at all exclusive, or chic and with a long line, extending outside of their bar and very subpar service for very mediocre food and experience. Will never ever come back here again.
We are here 3 mornings during our stay and each was wonderful. The setting is classic and beautifully done. The tables and service items classical. The meh offerings widely varied and perfectly prepared. Love the light to serious breakfast options. Constantly refilling water, juices, coffee etc. staff check in you with the perfect regularity. Only issue is many of the servings are simply too large for me or my wife to ever finish!!? It's over obj can't but tastes so good we always left more than full. We will always eat there when staying at St Regis!!!
The reservation is be re misleading. We thought we had a reservation at la maisonette but it's closed at 6pm. We were actually in a totally different restaurant called the drawing room. This was a business meeting. Not the drawing rooms fault but it was not an appropriate space for us.
After ending a 10 day trip to NYC and a cruise, myself and 2 of my friends decided to go relax and have a nice Sunday Brunch before boarding our flights home. We had a reservation and were seated quickly but it was downhill from there. No one came to our table for about 15 minutes and when she did she asked if we were ready to order. We said we would like some water and coffee first and another 10 minutes passed before we got it. We placed our order and when the food arrived it was lukewarm warm at best but at least it tasted ok. Anytime we needed a refill, it was us trying to find our server and us having to flag her down. At no point did she ask us if we needed anything or how our meal was. She brought the check and at that point she told us to have a good holiday (?). I would not recommend unless you like poor service.
Waited 20 minutes for someone to come to our table and receive any service. Felt like this was their first day on the job. Wrong food came out when it finally came. Water was not refilled one time in the entire lunch. Not one time. Waited 20 for acknowledgement to get the check. We had to grab their attention.
Lovely place; great afternoon tea; terrific service. One problem: They stop serving at 2:30 which is much too early for afternoon tea. Rather, it's closer to lunch time. We won't go there again

The food was actually pretty good, but the service completely ruined the experience. The staff were unfriendly and inattentive — we waited about 40 minutes for our food, and no one checked on us for at least 15–20 minutes after we were seated. The overall atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming.
The staff is the face of any restaurant, and in this case, it left a very poor impression. I won’t be coming back.

Disastrous breakfast. Stale cold croissant, Luke warm coffee, cold toasts, coffe like dirty water, indifferent service, and patrons allowed on speaker phone. 30 minutes wait for breakfast eggs plate. This place is a disgrace to the St. Regis name. Not willing to try their other meal services.

Wonderful experience celebrating my new daughter-in-law and my daughters. Lovely and delicious!
We had a great time for an afternoon date and tea experience. The accommodation and staff were professional and enjoyable. Highly recommend!
Sub par food but decent service. Was there for an event. Filet mignon was cold and over cooked. Must have been prep in advanced and kept until the meeting begins. No wonder the waiter didn't ask how I would like my steak done. Apertizer was so-so. Dessert and coffee was good.
