I love Atlas cafe so much! I've been coming here for close to 6 years, like many other reviewers. The first time I stumbled upon the little restaurant was in the middle of the day and I needed a quick bite between sales calls. I had the best gluten free ravioli and I've been going back ever since. I'm not sure if they're open right now with COVID because I've been out of the city, but I'm reallllllly hoping to get my hands on some gf chicken parm soon (it's better than Rubirosa's and WAY more reasonably priced)

I've been going to this place for the last 5 years and it is the best, most authentic and delicious place in the villages (both East and west).The owner works there every single day, and knows all of his customers by name. They have incredible vegan options (the best) and super affordable.Hands down our favorite place in nyc. Incredible service and incredible food. He was also one of the first restaurants on the block (30+ years) so it's really nice to support a business like that.

I happened to be in the East Village for work and looked up nearby vegan places for lunch. If it wasn't for Yelp, I would not have found Atlas Cafe. It's easy to miss walking down the street. The place itself is cozy and has an authentic feel without being all in your face.The service is super friendly and warm. The waiter had a cool accent and seemed kind. There are MANY vegan options!! Really affordable! I had the vegan tofu crepe. Food comes out fast and the Moroccan flavors are so warm and yummy! Spinach and sun dried tomato filled with realistic tasting chicken. Good combo. I wish they played Moroccan music. I'll be back to true the bagel with tofu cream cheese, pancakes, and their desserts! Oh and get their coffee! Full and happy. Highly recommended.

Permanently closed??? Walked all the way here this morning before work and it was closed?!! No sign, nothing. Not sure if the hours listed online are incorrect but I was annoyed. I was coming here for the vegan options. Website/info about this place should be updated.

I order a chocolate cake a tiramisu and a crepe the chocolate cake was good the tiramisu did not really taste like tiramisu the crepe was burnt I couldn't even cut it open with a plastic knife I was so upset I came from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to visit my family and it took me 6 hours and a half to get here I ordered a crepe and this is what I get I'm so disappointed

Very accommodating of allergies and dietary restrictions. My vegan & gluten free Moroccan tofu scramble was incredible. Big portions of delicious food for a low price. Best and cheapest brunch I had on my trip to New York.

I especially recommend the large variety of vegan desserts. An easy place to grab an assortment of such treats, even late at night! There are plenty of options for heartier meals as well, and I know at least a few are solid.
