This is the single most solid choice of Chinese food near Columbia. The thing with Chinese restaurants is that it is hard to maintain the same level of performance when it comes to cooking quality as time goes by. Atlas Kitchen has never underperformed, not even once, and I have been dining there consistently since before Pandemic.
Memorable Chinese food. Nearly everything we ate was very satisfying. The Spicy tofu, wood ear mushrooms, and century eggs were excellent starters. The Mapo Tofu was great. The fish filet in chili oil was special.
Amazing food, friendly service. One of my favorite places in the neighborhood! It's very quiet when Columbia students are on vacation. Don't let that deter you, good is great! Just dont order from the American chinese section.
