Wow. One of the top meals anywhere in the world. The food is delicious & soulful. It’s inventive yet honest. If you’re looking for technique or creativity or a general sense of pleasure + abundance, this kitchen has you covered.
What took this great experience to the next level was the incredible service team led by Arni & Jordan. So gracious and accommodating (to my allergy). I opted for the reserve wine pairing which was incredible value (Egon Muller, DP2, Comte Lafon, Chateau d’Yquem etc etc) and Jordan knew two wine nerds when he saw one and went above and beyond on every detail.
I am so impressed that they knew we were all walking in with high expectations and they exceeded every single one. Bravo! Can’t wait to come back.

Visited during 2025 summer. It was good overall but giving 4 stars because it’s too difficult to make reservations. Because of reservations, we expected too much. We love Jung Sik to go annually. Overall price and making reservation experience are bit lacking compared to Jung Sik. I’m comparing them because Jung Sik just became 3 stars and I went there when it was 2 stars. Also I feel a bit less creative + less delicious. If I didn’t go Jung Sik, I will give 5 stars and I will come back to Atomix again. Atomix is definitely better than any other fine dining. Hope there’s a way to control reservation so I don’t get too much expectation.

Every dish — even the snacks — was spot on. The white truffle add-on was excellent; for the first time at a Michelin restaurant, I actually felt an add-on of white truffle truly enhanced and harmonized with the dish rather than just adding to the price. The non-alcoholic drink pairing was thoughtfully designed and complemented the courses beautifully. The clay pot rice was phenomenal. The fish course was good but the least surprising of the night — well executed, but essentially a nicely cooked piece of fish in a familiar kimchi broth. Service was friendly, attentive, and present without being intrusive.

Came in with very high expectations as this is one of the hardest reservations to get. It makes sense considering there’s only 14 seats with a 5:30 and 8:30 time slot. I was very amazed with how beautiful the restaurant was. As for the tasting menu, it was a disappointment for the price point. Although the tasting menu had very fresh ingredients and was “balanced” it lacked the bold “wow” flavors that I’m used to when it comes to Korean fine dining and/or Asian flavors. We had some shells from the king crab dish, not a big deal, but overall was very disappointed with the flavor profiles. Desserts were amazing. Wasn’t worth the price point in my opinion.

One of my top dining experiences ever. The service was top notch, relaxed and personable. Each course of the meal was unique, interesting and had such depth. The wine pairing was also great! Shout out to Virgil and Arni for exceptional service.

Everything about Atomix was perfect except for one aspect. I wish they would've added a meat dish, because I wasn't full enough for the amount of money I was paying and it doesnt need to be Japanese wagyu. Since they're Korean I'm sure they could make a delicious galbi marinated meat dish and/or rice dish to help fill everyone's stomachs. They could've also added a little bit of a gastronomic touch whether it be through performance or at service that I think would've given them that slight edge to becoming a 3star.
Aside from that, everything was amazing. The small bites, that mussel and banana foiegras dish, mind blowing. Cocktails great. The service and the personalized chopsticks were a fantastic touch. Atomix was just a hair off perfection for me but i still personally enjoyed it.

$1,263 for dinner for 2. We knew the price would be high so no complaining about that. The food was mediocre and serving sizes were extremely small. We spent $200 on tea sampling and we only received a glass with 2 sips in each glass. We expected at the end of the evening for the Chef to come out introduce himself and say thank you! Didn’t happen.

Visited Atomix March of 2025 and had a great time! My favorite dish was the uni on toast!

Atomix is one of the most exceptional dining experiences in the world. It is a restaurant where cuisine, storytelling, and design converge into a unified and highly intentional journey. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere signals that this is not simply a tasting menu but a carefully constructed narrative about Korean identity, memory, and craftsmanship.
Each course is introduced with a beautifully crafted card that explains the inspiration and technique behind the dish. This format enriches the entire evening. The cards do not overwhelm; instead, they deepen your understanding of the flavors, the chef’s philosophy, and the cultural references embedded in every plate. It feels as though you are invited directly into the creative process.
The progression of dishes is both intellectually engaging and consistently delicious. The opening Pumpkin and Cinnamon Sikhye is elegant and comforting, setting a calm tone before the menu expands into more expressive flavors. The Horse Mackerel with Gim Bugak and Mustard Kimchi is precise, bright, and balanced. The Langoustine with Hakurei Turnip and Fava Jang shows extraordinary finesse.
Several courses stand out as some of the most memorable dishes I have had anywhere. The Monkfish Liver, Squid, and Tangerine combines richness, acidity, and marine depth with extraordinary clarity. The Kohlrabi, King Crab, and Kristal Caviar highlights the chefs’ use of nuruk as a modern ingredient, transforming a traditional fermentation starter into a refined sauce with remarkable complexity. The Lamb with Rye Doenjang, Perilla, and spicy lamb noodle is a powerful expression of Korean aromatics and craftsmanship.
Desserts continue the narrative rather than simply concluding the meal. The Passion Fruit with White Lotus Tea and Tapioca is delicate and refreshing, while the final Rice Ice Cream with Soybean Mousse and Honeycomb feels like a serene closing chapter, tying together comfort, technique, and elegance.
Service is impeccable throughout the evening. The team is attentive without ever being intrusive, and the pacing is flawless. The room itself is warm and intimate, supported by custom ceramics and thoughtful design details that complement the culinary experience.
Atomix is more than a restaurant. It is a deeply considered expression of Korean cuisine interpreted at the highest global level. The amount of care, craft, and intention in every detail makes the evening truly memorable. This is one of the most sophisticated and moving dining experiences in the world, and a place I would recommend without hesitation.

Had one of those meals that just flows — every course, pour, and presentation felt like a perfectly timed performance.
The white truffle tasting was unreal, and the wine pairing tied everything together beautifully. I tried the Omija Club and Maesil cocktails — both balanced and creative without trying too hard. The whole experience at Atomix is polished yet personal — easily one of my favorite dining experiences in NYC.

Dined at the bar. Very good cocktail pairings with unique ingredients. Service is excellent. Two food offerings were a little underwhelming for us. Fish, Iberico pork with Maitake mushrooms with crispy rice and Sweet potato with caviar were outstanding. Desert was light, refreshing and delicious.
