I didn’t take any photos because it was very dark in there and didn’t want to ruin the ambiance with flash. It was really a cool experience. You come across this grey door that could easily be missed if you don’t look close enough since it is a speakeasy. I knocked on the door and this sweet Irish guy told me he would get me in soon. It is a very small space with limited seating. I came in and was only able to stand against the wall and order a drink through one of the bartenders....
After a two-hour wait from 10-12, we began with our first cocktail: a single malt with hints of fruitiness and citrus, aiming for complexity. I’d rate it a 7/10. The alcohol flavor dominated the first sip, with only a faint fruit taste and lacking the anticipated complexity.

The second cocktail, a Four Roses Yellow Label whiskey, had a subtle smoky profile paired with the classic sweetness of Four Roses. I’d give it an 8/10. I imagined a hint of cigar smoke...
I had heard about this place for a while, and last night, my girlfriend and I finally decided to check it out. As we walked by, we asked about a seat, and the kind doorman informed us there would be a 15-minute wait. He took my phone number and called me as soon as the seats were available—a professional and organized touch that I really appreciated.
