So the food was good, but my wife and I saw 2 huge cockroaches and it destroyed our appetite. We told our waiter and nothing was comped or drinks offered.

Our first dinner of 3 nights in NYC was fabulous at Aurora Soho. Enjoyed the Luna cocktail to start, followed by appetizers to share with the table (see photo) and then the special, a morel mushroom pasta. Our table was lovely, service was excellent, and we will return!

We have been coming here for years. The quality of the food is impeccable. The menu changes, but is anchored in a few incredible dishes that we have come back to time and again. It is quiet which is also a huge plus.

The steak was super solid, so was the branzino and the pork. Everything was top notch. Haven’t been in a restaurant of that quality in a while. It’s harder than you think to find a good steak

Great food well prepared. Sat outside on street - can gat some occasional stink from sewer but that's not restaurant's fault, and we chose that over inside. If you sit outside - go for the Broadway end! Regular diner at restaurant - highly recommend.

The ambience was absolutely charming! From the moment we walked into the moment, we sat down, it was nourishing. We ordered our drinks, I got the red house blend, which was lovely and my date got an Italian beer that he also loved! For starters, we ordered the octopus and the kale salad. I wasn’t a huge fan of the octopus, but I’m not really an octopus lover to begin with… Although my partner loved it and ate every bite! The kale salad was totally my thing! The dressing was light and lovely, and it was finally chopped, and very palatable. Our main course consisted of the ink pasta with crab and shrimp and the waygu. The flavors were incredible in the pasta, and we ate every last bite of it. But the waygu was very tough and difficult to cut into. It was cooked, medium, rare, just as the chef prepared it… It was very juicy, but there wasn’t much flavor, and as I said, the meat was tough.Since we weren’t sold on the waygu, our server offered us another option, so we opted in for the spaghetti with mussels , which was good, but I probably wouldn’t order it again.Overall, the experience was very lovely, and intimate, and because of that, I will likely return if & when the opportunity arises.* I forgot to get pictures - but if you want a cozy intimate vibrant atmosphere with tasty North Italian innerG, this is your spot.

Food was great and pretty good wine list too. Only negative I could think of is that it was pretty noisy but I guess that's Saturday night at a popular place in Soho. Definitely recommend.

The ambience was exquisite; a quiet, welcoming escape from the city. The service was good, but we were never asked how we were enjoying the meal, only, “Can I get you another beverage?” When I inquired about wine to go with the meal, two were recommended, however, when I asked for a taste, it was definitely implied that it was not customary. I was given one thimble of a taste without seeing the bottle. And even when it was poured, I did not see the bottle. My son's meal was also cleared before I was done. Honestly, I expected more from such a fine establishment. Our server seemed rather pretentious, and may be looking for a certain type of clientele. I also noticed the choices for tip were 22% and upwards. I've never experienced this from any restaurant. And although I truly enjoyed the food, I couldn't help but feel the sense of ingratitude and unworthiness by our server.
