Yummy vegan food. Cute ambiance. Server was wonderful. We let her know we were trying to get to a show and our time was tight and she kept the food coming and got us out in good time. We had a lovely time.

A wonderful vegan restaurant, the food is delicious.
Excellent all around! And I'm not vegan. We over ordered because we wanted to try everything. ? Everything we ordered was GREAT!I'd change some of the songs on the Playlist.
Really good food. But not mind blowing (which makes me think it is overpriced). Also it's way too dark! Avocado is A+. So is the lava cake. Risotto is yum, but quite heavy.

Love how vegetable forward this restaurant is vs using fake meats. Super creative and the sauces are so flavorful! Our favorite must-get is the crispy rice with avocado and ginger carrot dressing & the lava cake dessert (it’s not on the menu so ask for it!)

Lovely food, service and ambience. We particularly liked the Gem Lettuce which was a kind of vegan Caesar Salad, and the avocado. Note that Google Maps still takes you to their old place, they’re actually round the corner now through a discrete door and up some stairs.
Went here for the first time recently and loved the food. There's mushrooms in many of the dishes (which I enjoyed). The most delicious ones I tried were the hen of the woods and the risotto. Portioned are small so order a few! Skip the mushroom ice cream (I just did not enjoy it). Service was very friendly and helpful.

It is easy to see why this place is on the Michelin radar! The service was well above average (new dinnerware between courses, dish descriptions upon delivery, very attentive). The food was incredible. Our server recommended four courses for two of us and that was perfect—we ended up pleasantly full but not stuffed. We tried two toasts (artichoke pictured left, roasted beet right); the tamal, which had the tenderest jackfruit I’ve ever tasted; and the risotto with seasonal mushrooms, which had us oohing and ahhing at every bite. We had the first reservation of the evening at 5 pm and enjoyed a lovely quiet meal. The seating is tight and it was filling up by the time we finished, so if you’re prone to sensory overload an early time might be the move!Vegetarian options: Menu is fully plant-based/vegan

Avant Garden is very expensive but is great for a special occasion. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for an upscale place with artistic vegan dishes.
