Small shop on the edge of Chinatown but the banh mi is awesome. They have a regular and a spicy version. Get the spicy. Definitely worth stopping in for pick up, not really a dine in spot but the price is right and the place is clean. Good service and lots of locals seem to pick up from there.

Some say this is where you get the best banh mi in Chinatown. We love ourselves a good Vietnamese sandwich and so does everybody at this Chinatown staple. When you come here, you must order the BBQ pork sandwich for $9! They’re gonna ask if you want spicy or not - you can't go wrong with either or, but we like the spicy version. The baguette bread here is crispy on the outside without being too scratchy or hard on the top of your mouth. It’s soft on the inside, so it's easy to bite, & the BBQ pork here is not too sweet - it’s tender and savory. The vegetables are fresh, crisp, and pickled without being too sour or overpowering. Every bite is full of flavor and different textures. We love a good banh mi!

I used to eat it every two days for more than ten years. Then I moved away from Chinatown. After a gap of more than 10 years, I came back to New York today and bought 10 pieces of No. 1 bread. The first bite I took was so delicious. It’s still the same taste. If you want to look for it now, it’s really hard to find the same taste as before. It’s really, really great?

Delicious Vietnamese sandwiches in Chinatown and I would definitely recommend it. It can get very busy on the weekends and the wait time can be long so order ahead over the phone! My go to order is the bbq pork sandwich.

Good Banh Mi, favor was okay but didn’t like that the bread was too toasted and crunchy. Good price so can’t complain about the overall experience. The viet iced coffee was good, not too sweet.

It was pure wonderful. Was the best in nyc! The bread was crispy and light. The marinated pork and pickle vegetables did its job. I’m Vietnamese and I approve of this!
Got the pork #1, and the cold cut #13. Both are amazing! The cold cut is the traditional / classic one. Highly recommended if you haven't tried already

A small spot in Chinatown that makes great Vietnamese sandwiches packed with a good amount of filling. I had the #2, grilled chicken with lots of flavorful veggies in a crusty baguette that's soft on the inside. Great combination of flavors and texture at a very affordable price

I’ve gone to this place often in the past. A go-to you can consider it to be. I thought it would be a great idea to bring my visiting friends here so they could try some NYC bahn mi….WE FOUND F O U R HAIRS IN OUR SANDWICHES!!! ☹️ so disappointed. What’s worse is that when I called the restaurant, they were dismissive about it. They said they would refund.- Shrimp & onion bahn mi : 2 hairs- Beef & onion bahn mi: 2 hairs- OG pork bahn mi: no hairShocked and disappointed to say the least. Will have to reconsider this as my go to restaurant from now on unfortunately.
