The Banh Mi Cart is my favorite part of working in the Financial District. They’re only open 4 hours a day but boy do they deliver! Hot, delicious ready-to-eat Vietnamese banh mi’s ? And the two uncles working the cart are super friendly and are the most honest, hardworking people I’ve met. I’ll have to try to get there earlier because the roasted pork banh mi is sold out everytime!

This place is MAGICAL: it’s still a mystery to me how a delicious, authentic hot bowl of pho can come a tiny truck! The pho tastes just as good as any other good Vietnamese sit down restaurants in the city— if not BETTER. The price is reasonable ($12) especially considering that the portion size is incredibly generous. I gave this food truck a try after craving pho for so long.
