The place is very nice, the cocktails are the worst I have ever had in my life. I ordered a margarita or literally it is tequila with ice, in a glass bathed in exaggerated salt, plus the presentation is also bad!

We had a very disappointing experience at Bar 54. The host was extremely rude and unprofessional, which really affected our visit. We expected a much higher standard of customer service given the reputation of the venue. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

Atmosphere and service was nice we went to experience the the highest rooftop bar in town. Just had 2 cocktails and a desert. The total was $90 with 18% gratuity included.

I've never been served so shabbily! The waiter who took the order stood in front of us with his legs apart and his hands in his pockets. No smile, not even a hint. Since we apparently took too long to order drinks, he left again. But told us that since we needed more time, he would come back later. He sent another waiter and ignored us from then on. Apparently we weren't enough for him. Since we are tourists from Switzerland, our English is not perfect. Maybe that was it?
When we got the bill, we didn't understand the different fees and asked the waiter who ignored us. He shook his head appraisingly, grimaced and said that was the price. But that was only one point of two that we didn't understand. We had to ask what the 18% was for. He meant tax again. Only after asking again did it come out that this was the tip. However, we were expected to tip even more. But not for such unfriendly service! As we were leaving, a waiter showed our bill to another waiter. There was no second tip on this. There's a lot of word in their native languages. Facial expressions and tone meant nothing good to me. Which confirmed for me that I didn't give a second tip.
The location and the view is fantastic. In such a privileged location you don't seem to have to rely on customers. You won't find American hospitality here. We definitely won't be coming back

Grabbed a drink here with my girlfriends around 9:30PM without a reservation, thankfully we snagged the only open bar seats available. We had a really nice bartender, loved her. I got the apple rum based drink $25 but it was delicious! Will definitely be back!

I came with a friend after the Broadway music, I ordered 1 glass of champagne and the waiter said that my friend should order something too, although she didn’t want anything. I asked to bring the rules of the bar, where it is written that every guest is obliged to order, the waiter did not bring written evidence and was very rude to this request. I said I would take it off to send it to the management that the bar is forced to take extra drinks or refuses service. This waiter knocked out my phone and was rude, without providing any evidence of extortion of the order. I think it’s terrible and humiliating.
The views are good in the bar, but the energy of consumerism.

Elevated ambiance inside and quite limited but cool views outside facing south west with a dozen of tables. The cocktails are good and priced on par with the NYC rooftops.
If you don't mind Times Square - it is a perfect rooftop in the area. Great visibility of dropping New Years ball.
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible by elevator and has accessible bathrooms.
