I had a fantastic Hojicha old-fashioned. It was well balanced, complex, and delightful. My second drink was OK. The service was prompt and efficient. It was overall a good experience.

I heard a lot of advertising on Insta so I came to play and was disappointed. Praise the cute, small, Japanese-style restaurant, but it's just an imitation, but I don't think it really has a Japanese-style atmosphere. Compliment the choice of sochu brand ok, I drink sochu soda, the boy drinks lemon chuhai. This dish really doesn't require the bartender's talent to mix, a good bottle of wine is enough. My food calls for miso wings, oh my god, it's so bad. I don't notice the miso taste, but it's salty enough to the brain. Just let me know once on Instagram how big it is.

Overrated is the best word to describe my experience there. I tried two different drinks (cocktails), and they were way below the average at best. Waiters were mean and I would never visit this place again.

This place fills up fast! Since they don’t take reservations, I’d recommend coming right when they open. They won’t be able to reserve tables for you, even if part of your group is there. I came on a Saturday night around 5:10pm and by 5:40pm the place was entirely full (including standing room).
Got the off menu tequila drink (forgot what it was called) but it had a nice foam and the drink was a light green color. My partner ordered the Far East Side drink (delicious but thought mine was better).
Staff was great, service was quick. Lots of people ordered the small bites but we each got one drink before heading to dinner nearby.

Bar Goto is a proper Japanese bar. Drinks here are excellent, like the clarified miso cocktail, where the salty miso is beautifully balanced by a subtle caramel sweetness. During the summer, they offer perfect kakigori. Using clear ice imported from Japan and a meticulously maintained shaving device, they create fluffy, flaky ice shards.

A sort of posh Izakaya spot with decent drinks and vibes. There can be a bit of a wait if you're arriving at peak times on a weekend, but it should clear up in about 15-30 mins.

Fun Japanese style bar. Fast and friendly service even though it was quite busy in there. Cocktails were great and they also had some tasty non alcoholic options. Strong focus on Sake and shochu. Wings were also great.

Such a cute spot! Great selection of Japanese whiskey too, the Okinomiyaki is so good! Hojicha old fashioned was the highlight for us.

This place is awesome! We had reservations for a party of 2 for a Saturday evening. The place was poppin so make sure you make a res too! The vibe inside is dark and intimate. I would not recommend for parties larger than 4
For drinks we got the:
- Sakura martini: surprisingly refreshing?
- Far East Side: yum!
- Hojicha old fashioned: (I did not taste but was told it's delicious)
For food, we got the okonomiyaki. It was pretty salty and I don't think I'd buy it again (esp. for $19!)
Overall - recommend for a lovely date night!

What a nice little find. This small barely noticable Japanese cocktail spot. They have limited food but that is not what you are there for. The drinks are the stars of the show here. They have wide variety and some custom made local ones for LES/Japan.
The place has no awning so you can miss it. With that said it is super nice lounge/Bar

Food is disgusting. Just regular lays chips, chicken wings are impossible to eat. But cocktails are very good.
