From the moment you step inside, the warm amber lighting and orderly, intimate space create a calm and unhurried atmosphere. The environment feels precise yet welcoming, encouraging guests to slow down and be present.
I tried the Amaro Highball, which immediately stood out for its comfort and balance. It was light yet satisfying, gently effervescent, with bitterness and sweetness in perfect proportion. The finish carried subtle botanical notes rather than harsh alcohol, making it extremely easy to drink and surprisingly soothing.
The Green Shiso Gimlet was equally well-executed. Although the shiso leaf is not visually present, its aroma is clearly expressed, clean, soft, and herbal. Compared to similar cocktails elsewhere, this version feels drier, lighter, and more restrained, with the rice shochu adding clarity and structure.
Overall, Bar GOTO excels in quiet craftsmanship. The cocktails are elegant without being showy, and the space reflects a deep respect for technique and atmosphere. A strong recommendation for those who appreciate subtlety, balance, and Japanese bartending philosophy.

Tried their sakura martini and loved the clean and subtle floral scent. Would return to try a different cocktail. I went on a weekday night and was seated at the bar right away. One of the servers saw me struggling with my coat and was kind enough to let me know there's a coat hanger in the back.

This place was always my favorite spot for Japanese inspired cocktails. Never disappointed with their different martinis. I was a little disappointed of the fact that I have to wait until my other guest joins even though there were empty bar seats and tables. There was no people waiting too. However, I might come back again to get their Sakura martini.
Not a fan of their okonomiyaki... the flavor is great but who the freak serves it like this?!? It should be served as a whole circular pancake. The texture is awful like this. Its very mushy. Not crispy at all. I would say go for the drinks, no appetizers.
