After reading about this place and seeing photos online, we were really excited to try it. We made a reservation on Open Table, received a confirmation email, and drove over 40 miles - only to find the place locked up. Another couple arrived as we were leaving. They tried the doors as well, and said they saw a sign that said "Temporarily Closed". We all tried calling their number and didn't even get a recording. Extremely disappointing. If you're not going to be open, disable your online reservations and post a recorded explanation of some kind. I'm only giving one star because I can't post if I don't. Not impressed.
Can't recall what it was, or all about, because I don't drink anything ANYMORE, & obviously it didn't leave a positive impressions!

Excellent bar with a great staff that provides amazing service every time. There are also fun things going on most nights
Fun, friendly place. Bartenders are cool and the drinks delicious
Service wasn't anything special and neither were the drinks. Large portions with my food, which was nice. It was really crowded when I showed up and then it just emptied as people left to go to the show next door.
Bar Thalia is a great little spot on 95th street and Broadway. Connected to Symphony Space, BT is open for great food, great cocktails and performances of just about all kinds, from poetry to music and, most recently, stand-up comedy; having hosted Harlem favorite, Pumkin Escobar & Friends. There's always great activity full of creative energy happening at Bar Thalia, so definitely put this destination on your to-go-to list...and tell em I sent you!
Relaxing
A small and cozy place. There are different programs in the evenings. Worth checking out.
Bar Thalia is an amazing and welcoming host for Singers Space open mic on Mondays.
Restaurantji Recommends
Is a nice cafeteria for the theater space.
Great employees very friendly
Terrific simgers
Intimate setting, good music (occasionally live) and great service.
Chill spot attached to Symphony Space. Have been here primarily for Trivia Nights. Inexpensive drinks and the food is above average. Never too loud and enough seating to not become claustrophobic.
