A friend was in town from the other side of the pond, so we hung out in the Village for the afternoon. It was a terribly hot day, so we ducked into Bar Veloce for a couple of beers and cold AC. It didn't disappoint. It was mid-afternoon and fairly empty, so we had the bartender's full attention. Unfortunately, I can't recall his name, but he was extremely friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back.
Great place for lots and lots of wine. Very fun spot, we sat out back and made sure we had bug spray so we wouldn’t het bitten, Valentin and Nicholas took great care of us. We were there for hours, and had some paninis as well which were fun and not hugely filling but enjoyable. I love it here, would happily come back again and again
I came late one night for a quick drink. I got their maple old fashioned, which adds just a bit of sweetness to the drink and the resulting flavor is fantastic. I also tried their Kentucky bourbon cocktail which was a bit smokier and intense than I had wanted. This bar is a cool place.
