Excellent food, fast service and very nice atmosphere. All of the dishes had very nice touches when it came to seasoning, garnishes, etc. we had the eggplant messed, which was fresh and tasted great, accompanied by one of the best flatbreads I’ve had. Lamb rib appetizer special was also very good and came on a bed of grains with mint and I think yogurt sauce. Duck breast was some of the best I’ve had. Cooked perfectly with black rice seasoned with some garnishes and maybe a dressing that I can’t quite describe. Chicken kebab was a bit bland but not bad. The service was very fast and the location/interiors look great.

SO GOOD!!! The service was awesome, we've never had such attentive people at a restaurant before. Will be back for sure:)

Food was OK, service was slow and while the ambiance was nice, the noise/music level was too high for dinner and for anyone that wants to have a conversation at their table.

Great good and drinks, lovely space and really nice serving staff. Lost stars as staff at the front desk were rude and unhelpful - not a nice introduction when you walk into a restaurant

My first time here and thoroughly enjoyed lunch at Barbounia. The food was fresh and delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. Our waiter Sammy made our dining experience even better. He was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We will be back.

Service wasn't very good. Food was solid but not noteworthy. Restaurant is nice and spacious.

Great Mediterranean food and welcoming staff. Always a great idea to go for lunch with a small group. The prixe fix menu is a great value. Highly recommend the hummus and the chicken pita.

Thank to Eric, Jorge and Eric for making our wedding anniversary special. The food, drinks and desert superb. Humus with fresh bread, steak, red snapper, octopus and scallops all excellent. Cheesecake & Dubai style chocolate amazing. Malbec red wine top of the line.

Had a fantastic time! The only issue was that we were charged for something we didn't order. My bill came I was getting ready to sign came to something around $267. But my card was charged $341. When I noticed the discrepancy, it was quickly corrected but I'm glad that I noticed! My bill was supposed to have been $204. Outside of that - every thing was wonderful.

To offer a fair and balanced take, what truly elevates Barbounia is the food. The spicy feta was outstanding, and the Long Island duck was not only delicious but plated with care. The kitchen is absolutely the star here. My only complaint is the noise level and the feeling of overcrowding (and I say this as a New Yorker, so this isn't an out-of-towner nitpick). When I walked in with a small bag, I had to hold it behind me or above my head just to make it to my table. The noise also made it hard to communicate with staff. I asked to try a half bottle of wine, meaning I wanted to order it, but the server kept repeating that they “don't allow tastes.” Because neither of us could hear well, he got louder, which came across as slightly aggressive, and I eventually had to raise my voice to clarify that I intended to buy the bottle. “Taste” was just a figure of speech, but it was lost in the chaos of the room. In the end, the Bordeaux I ordered was older and a bit gritty. Decanting it would have helped keep some of the large sludges of sediment out of the glass, though it was harmless otherwise. Still, it was a disappointment for a $70 half bottle. And because of the earlier disagreement, I didn't feel comfortable raising any concerns with the waiter. If great food is what you're after, then give it a go. Just be prepared to sit very close to your neighbors.

We were rushed with our food because the kitchen was closing in between dinner and lunch. We had a 3pm reservation and we were kind of rushed the entire time from food to drinks and paying so they could close out and start fresh for new shifts. It was not a positive experience, going forward they shouldn't take reservations for that time if they cannot provide consistent service. I shouldn't be rushed through my meal because your closing, it was disjointed and disappointing. The food was good and they took my allergies seriously, which I do appreciate. The blue cheese olives are not freshly stuffed they come from a jar with oil, as a result my martini was oily.

Over great experience. From the decor to the food I can't say enough good things. We were celebrating my friends birthday and I couldn't have picked a better place. When I tell you all the dishes were seasoned to perfection. The steak was out of this world!
