Food was great, however they only had 3 of the 10 or so beers on the draft menu, and the glasses they came in were very small - maybe 8oz. of beer for what you'd normally pay for a pint.

Barrel 79 is a Cool local bar in Washington Heights, fast food made, good vibes, and karaoke on Thursdays. The lovely ambiance inside and the outside has outside does not look attractive but don't get discouraged. Also, good to know the location and space are safe and friendly environments and open to all, and LGBT-friendly.

Slow kitchen and server forgot my order: after an hour server asked if we wanted anything and I said our food, he said kitchen is backed up and walked away. Ten minutes later food came out for the rest of the table but turns out server never entered my order.

Met a few friends for drinks. The place was empty. $1 off draft beer and no food specials. The bartender appeared to be new. When a friend asked for a screwdriver, he did not know what that was. Very Interesting!The place is very nicely decorated. Hope it does well in this neighborhood.

The besttttt experience!!!From the manager Tommie, the cook Manny, & the wonderful bartender Genny!! Customer service is not a problem here! You’re literally at home here! Customers are super friendly and regulars are definitely part of the community/ neighborhood and all know each other! It made me feel like I knew them too the way they all interacted with me!Food was amazing! I started off with the mozzarella wedges for happy hour!! I’m currently here indulging in some amazing margaritas!! The mango & strawberry are really great! I will update when I’m done and home however ? I feel like this review is going to be accurate and I’m going to continue to have a wonderful time!

This food was AMAZING! We placed a HUGE order at a local hospital near by, and they delivered it in a timely manner, the manager/owner was so kind, and the food was hot and fresh! Highly highly recommend. Happy nurses and doctors tonight! :)
