The guy who runs the cart from opening to around 2-3 pm is literally the best halal cart cook in the entire city. I been getting his lamb over rice and lamb gyro since I was a kid and no where else has come close. If you want halal food on the upper west side, this spot is numbers 1, 2 and 3 on the list of places you should go.10 stars if I could give that many
Love this halal cart, their lamb is delicious. Generous quantity of white sauce. Size of the meal... well I actually think it depends? First time I went there it was a full dish, absolute 5 star meal for me. But the 2nd and 3rd time I went I saw a different cook/server and the portions were considerably smaller. It's still the same plate, but he didnt pack it, it was rather loose as you can see on my photo. Enough for a meal, but I enjoy having leftovers x]
