We've lived in the area for 31 years and never knew about Baz. This was our first time. Loved it. Now we will be regulars.

If you used to live in New York City and moved somewhere else and now you just landed in the morning at JFK, this is a pretty good first stop. A very friendly welcome home. And the lox is as good as it gets.

Even though it was small, we were very well attended to and it was without a doubt the best Bagel in NYC. It is served in the best way to eat and is very filling. Perfect to share between 2 people. Another highlight is the Blintzes! What a delicate and well-constructed recipe. A light dough with a delicious syrup and a very aromatic filling. I couldn't help but go there for the second time in the same week. The service is very friendly, which makes all the difference. I recommend it 100%. But pay attention to opening hours.

Baz Bagels is a must in SoHo, NY! Every time I visit NY I have to come here for a bagel! It’s hard to top it off! The Baz Salmon Bagel is my favorite! Great size, it’s shareable too! Fully recommended for a bagel fix!

Cute little diner. The place stays packed but they are very attentive and fast. We had the breakfast bagel and coffee. Bagels are big enough to be shared.

It’s a bit expensive but it’s a much better bagel than Leon’s bagels up the street on Mulberry. If you can get over the price here, the food is good and the restaurant is cozy. Finding a good bagel seems increasingly hard, but this place satisfies.

Great place for breakfast in soho! Great if you’re staying in the NOMO hotel because of the close location. Service was amazing and the food was delicious

Peak comfy Jewish bagel place vibes. It's a bit of a tight squeeze since the place itself is narrow but if you get a seat you're in for a great time! Super friendly staff and customers, generous menu options featuring a mix of traditional fare and modern eats (I tried the tie dye/rainbow bagel with a lox schmear) and enough iconography of my favorite patron saints (Barbara Streisand, Bette Midler, and Dolly Parton) to positively reinforce the notion that I was in THE GOOD PLACE and living life *deliciously*.
Will be coming back.

Dietary restrictions: They had vegan alternatives

Wheelchair accessibility: Narrow venue, not super accessible

It was just ok. I asked to make my own bagel with the ingredients of my choice!! They added more.. (cheddar cheese and butter and some kind of mayo).
I wanted only egg and avocado. That was not ok.
I had stomach ache after that!!
The shop was cute and the staff was friendly!!

Very cute diner with delicious bagels and black and white cookies and super friendly staff. Most notably though — they have the most amazing gluten-free bagel I’ve ever had. It tastes like a normal bagel, like kinda suspiciously. If you’re GF, it’s a must try!!
