Been a Benjamin customer a long time. Food always good, sides well portioned. Sometimes service is bit lacking. Tonight there was a major synchronization issues between the Bar and the kitchen. Our starter drinks came out well after out appetizers were brought to the table. By which time I would have expected to be on a smooth Pinot. The timing was off the rest of the meal. My wine never came. The Benjamin been a great consistent performer for year. I hope they can fix this stuff. I will let you all know after our next visit.

We had a terrific time at the Benjamin Steakhouse. They hosted a birthday party of eight flawlessly. All the members were impressed by the food, the service, and especially the surroundings.. The experience went so well, and that was because of the hard work & professionalism of the folk at Benjamin Steakhouse.

As always, attentive service, consistently high quality food and preparation, and overall ambiance made this lunch a winner. In the midst of United Nations week and gridlock in NYC, we were able to have reservations at a respite from the chaos. Not well-known, the Benjamin Steakhouse is a gem.

The meat was good and cooked well. We also serve high-quality draft beer in frozen glasses. The food is impeccable.
There was a little problem receiving the drinks I think the server's attitude toward service is good because he apologized even though it wasn't the drink he served.
But the bread before the meal was cold. There were flies around while I was eating. It was difficult to concentrate on food. It's ambiguous to say it's a restaurant problem, but I don't know if there is a subway downstairs or because it was under construction, but the floor shook regularly while I was eating.
I think the service is lacking for the price. This was even more disappointing because the cheaper steak restaurant nearby was cheaper than this one and had a nice atmosphere.

We celebrated our Anniversary!! The food was fantastic!! The service was on point!! We were surprised with 2 glasses of Champagne!! I can't wait to dine here again!! Drinks were outstanding at the bar!

I eat lunch quite often at Benjamin and the food is great and plentiful. Great steak, fried calamari and chocolate cake. The breads are excellent, too. Served with olive oil and butter. The staff is very professional and attentive. They always look out for your needs. Great fireplace in the winter. Go there!

Benjamin's is always excellent- never miss when we are in NYC-love the atmosphere, friendly service and great wine list but our favorites are always the Benjamin salad, full of crab and crisp apples , light delicious vinaigrette-perfect! Next favorite is the rack of lamb-perfectly cooked and seasoned- Benjamin's is always a favorite!!!
