At the beginning of the service they provided what we thought were complimentary glasses of Presico for our anniversary only to find out that we were charged for them at the end of the meal when we had not even asked for them. It was disappointing since that was our first meal experience in NYC.

The steak, crab cakes and onion rings were superb but the ambience killed it. The room is dreary, poorly lit and hung with drab curtains. No money has been spend on design in years and years. When prices are this high, I expect a nicer ambience.

I made reservation for our 31st Anniversary pre theater Weather was horrendous We were running late I called restaurant in advance to let them know we would be late I arrived 1st.I ordered before my husband was able to get there. He showed up a few minutes later They immediately brought over 2 glasses of Prosecco! So thoughtful! A few minutes later our food came out! I was in shock! They clearly listened.... We were able to eat & get to the theater on time I thought it could not happen in my lifetime All about the service Thank you so much!

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, kurzer Smalltalk und alles sehr locker trotz des gehobenen Ambientes. Der Preis ist hoch, dennoch völlig gerechtfertigt. Gutes Essen, das Fleisch auf den Punkt getroffen, sehr aufmerksame Kellner. Die Pommes als einziger Kritikpunkt mit 7/10.

The steaks are very good. It is a very noisy restaurant when full. Service was a bit slow. I did appreciate that the restaurant gave us a free carafe of wine after I managed to break my wine glass.Much appreciated. We ahve dined at Benjamin's a number of times as we like the food. However, the noise level makes it difficult to heaar others at your table
The service was just ok. They did split the wedge salad for us, but my part had too much dressing and my husband's too little. Steaks very dry and tasteless. Asparagus not good.

We were invited here and had some bacon, ceasars salad, porterhouse steak for four, creamed spinach, asparagus and warm pecan pie. all very good!
