My daughter and i thought we would try beyond sushi take away on our last night in new york as we had loved willow. We were not disappointed! We had the chinese 5 spice dumplings which were fantastic. Just the right amount of spice, the salmon, tuna sushi and chicken yakatori were to die for. They were sensational! Flavours so fresh and moreish. Will def revisit if in ny and would recommend to anyone who likes fresh flavorsome food - not just vegans.

Almost everyone has doubts about vegan restaurants but Beyond Sushi is definitely beyond your imagination. Anthony welcomed us with a big smile as we walked in and promptly seated us. He thoroughly explained the menu full of plant-based vegan and kosher heaven. Best of all, there’s also a cocktail and drinks menu from their full bar. Anthony meticulously crafted each cocktail with perfection. We ordered a sushi roll and nigiri as appetizer and cannot believe it was all vegan. The shoyu ramen and chili noodles also came with Yo Egg which is a soy-based poached egg with leaky yolk. For dessert, their pandan cake and ube cashew cheesecake makes you wonder how it can be vegan. Every bite feels like you are tricking your brain into eating beyond vegan food items. ahhh we got the chickn yakitori and my mom who is a new vegan cldnt believe it wasnt real meat haha !! thts how u knowwww^^ !! i loved loved lovedddd the cucumber side tht came w this !! it was soo good ughh i had almst all of it !! i got the broccoli and chickn bowl 4 myself and it was rly good !! i ate everything but the rice bcs i think its called sushi rice ?? i dont rly like the taste / texture but thts totally a personal thing. im sure others like it lots !! and honest id still order it again even w not liking the rice !! the broccoli and chickn were soo yummy !! and omg the pandan cake !!!!! ahhh the frosting was so yummy i loved the citrusy flavor and how it went w the coconut !! the cake sorta tasted a little vanilla - y without pandans earthy sorta flavor which was a little disappointing i think it cldve used some more pandan - y flavor loll ?? idk but id order it again totally !! u can rly tell a lot of thought went in2 the menu here !! thx sm 4 the yummy lunch ill b back^^ !!!

Absolutely loved dining in here! Everything we had had unique flavours and the quality of the sushi was really high - we also loved the bao buns! All the staff were also really friendly and lovely too. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Still debating wheter if it’s the best vegan sushi I’ve ever had but it’s pretty good nonetheless.
The desserts were 10/10 and so were the Chilli Noodles.

We had the charred avocado and spicy tuna. They were really fresh and delicious.

I love vegan sushi. I will try it anywhere it exists and this was some of the best I’ve had and for sure the best in NYC. I’m a huge fan of when restaurants replace crab and tuna with imaginative fruits and vegetables instead of just blobs of mystery ingredients. Beyond Sushi does a great job of mixing fresh ingredients and pairing them with delicious sauces. Spicy mang, nutty buddy, and the spicy crab roll were all tasty I wish I could have kept eating more but the other rolls will be conquered next time. I’m the meantime, go support this place.

This is one the best vegan sushi restaurant. Service is top notch, ambiance is impeccable, and the food never disappoints. Sushi, chick’n skewers, boa buns omg so many good options! Wish they’d bring back the tacos!!! Overall Beyond sushi is always a perfect special occasion spot, or to just treat yourself and those you care about.
