My friend suggested we have dinner, and it happened on a cold Tuesday evening in this new restaurant. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves being in the place. We even had the chance to briefly chat with one of the owners. We took our time with our meals and didn't feel like we had to rush ourselves. Or worst, impatiently wait for something that we thought would show up after a long wait. It was alright. I think it's mostly because we knew we're in a new place.

First time here and last time coming back. We had the following dishes. Crispy Fried Chicken Soup with Winter Melon & Chili. This dish is visually comforting — a clear, fragrant broth with slices of winter melon, red chili peppers, and golden-brown fried chicken pieces. The broth looks light but flavorful, likely infused with ginger and a clean, soothing taste. The fried chicken adds a nice contrast: crispy on the outside but tender once soaked in the broth. The winter melon looks fresh and perfectly cooked, giving a mild sweetness. Overall, it feels like a warm, balanced dish — comforting with a little kick from the chili. The Black Squid Ink Noodles with Meat & Vegetables This plate looks bold and dramatic — the deep black squid-ink noodles are glossy and well-coated. The portion is generous with sautéed vegetables, tender chunks of meat, and garlic bits sprinkled throughout. The lemon wedge on the side is a great touch since a squeeze of citrus would brighten the rich, umami-heavy flavors. The greens on top add a fresh pop of color. This dish looks savory, aromatic, and slightly smoky — definitely for someone who loves strong, layered flavors.
Lastly: Crispy Taro Shells Filled with Spiced Chicken Mixture. These little taro or crispy pastry cups are adorable and appetizing. The filling looks creamy, spiced, and loaded with texture — likely a mix of diced chicken, aromatics, and mild chili. The crisp shells give a nice crunch with each bite, while the filling looks rich and savory. The presentation with the banana leaf adds a clean and elegant touch. Perfect as a starter or shared appetizer.

Had a wonderful time here right after our quick marriage ceremony nearby. The food was incredible, beautifully presented, and lovely service. The homemade bagoong was unforgettable; I still cannot believe how delicious it was. The pork humbanado was melt in your mouth tender with just the right level of sweetness, and the pinakbet vegetables were cooked perfectly with a delicate flavor.

The star of the meal was the Krispy Kare Kare. The sauce had an ideal consistency, the peanuts arranged around it almost like a little beach, and the plating was a true showstopper.

I love seeing how Filipino cuisine continues to evolve and reach new heights, and Binondo is definitely part of that exciting growth. It is a bit on the pricier side, but absolutely worth it, especially for a special occasion.

I’m really kicking myself for not taking photos because the presentation on the main dishes was phenomenal.

I learned of Binondo from their Macy’s pop up at Herald Square and was recommended I give their restaurant a visit. It’s tucked away in a corner of China Town, close to City Hall but a bit of a walk from any of the trains, but it was undoubtedly worth the venture.

My date and I had the pleasure of being served by Chef Augee herself, extremely friendly and was more than eager to give us an authentic dining experience.

so happy that there is finally a filipino restaurant in chinatown. the menu had many classic dishes that i would find at woodside. the meal started with a complimentary soup, which was tasty and paired well with the peanuts and dried fish that were provided for the table. our menu highlights included: chicken adobo, crispy string beans, pork sisig, and ginataang kalabasa. we were also celebrating a birthday and we brought our own cake but they provided one of those fun sparkler candles! definitely a good place to celebrate an occasion.

The staff was very courteous. We had the lumpiang shanghai, sisig, the Quiapo cocktail, and Estero dessert. Everything was excellent.

The restaurant has elements that create genuine fans. The meal size is more than adequate and the salad was crisp. The people at BINONDO by Kabisera are remarkably kind and provide help with any matter. The menu features fresh selections. The workers make you feel welcome. The place is accessibly located and we'll come back.

My family and I celebrated my birthday at BINONDO, and the entire experience was truly memorable.

Since it was my first time trying Filipino food, I didn't know what to order, but the staff was fantastic—all their recommendations were delicious! The food was outstanding and well-executed. My personal favorites were the Chicken Adobo, the fish dish, and the Crispy Kare-Kare—a definite must-try! And, of course, you absolutely must finish your meal with the Halo-Halo.

What really set this experience apart was the excellent service and their attention to detail. My mother has dietary restrictions (vegetarian), and the server was happy to check with the chef and graciously modify one of the appetizers for her. We were so appreciative of their willingness to accommodate us.

The atmosphere was great, and the cocktails were also delicious. Highly recommend BINONDO for a celebratory and authentic Filipino-Chinese dining experience in Manhattan!

We went there after seeing all the nice posts on Tik tok and IG. The food look good in the post. So we booked for an intimate dinner for 4. We got there, the restaurant is pretty empty, and the food ain’t great at all. We ordered the sisig, and it wasn’t even sizzling! We asked the server who’s serving us why is not sizzling and he said nothing. But the table next to us got the sizzling sisig, and we didn’t. Ok! When we asked for the bill, literally the whole wall lights fell on us, they said sorry and move on. Nothing was comp! It was bad, and I don’t know why everyone said it was good. The rest of the food was ok, nothing special.

We had a fantastic dinner for our group of 7. Thank you so much to Chef Augee and team for the delicious food, drinks, and hospitality. A truly a wonderful addition to Chinatown. You expertly balanced the traditional flavors we love as a Filipino American family and you brought a newness to dishes that delighted even my Mom and my very discerning Tita’s. Our favorites were the Pancit Negra, Crispy Pork Kare Kare and the Special Halo Halo. There was not one complaint from our group. The joy and laughter from our table was only matched by our deafening silence when we were all stuffing our faces with your incredible food - sarap! We left with happy bellies and can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu.

The kitchen here isn't satisfied with doing what's expected. The atmosphere here enhances the experience. I bring different friends each time. Staff members ensured we'd remember our experience. You'll find yourself completely satisfied.

Food looked good and tasted OK. Portions were less than minimal for the price. Food took forever to be served.

The waitress was nice, but it was only 1 wait staff for the entire restaurant.

The bartender (who was not busy) prepared our drinks and left it on the counter for 15+ minutes before the waitress had time to bring it to our table. At one point, he did helped refill the water glasses but skipped several tables (including our table).

+3.99% service for using a credit card.

Suggested tip is 20-22-25-30%….which is calculated “after taxes” and service charges.

Everything was delicious omg. Every vegetable was cooked perfectly (amazing)!!! And each dish tasted unique and was seasoned well (at other restaurants, all dishes can kinda taste the same.) My family loved the sisig (not pictured) and the huge halo halo of course (all the toppings were perfect.) The char on the vegetables in the kare kare was chefs kiss. Thank you Kabisera for your food at BINONDO !!! <3 I can't wait to go back and bring more people.
