The restaurant has elements that create genuine fans. The meal size is more than adequate and the salad was crisp. The people at BINONDO by Kabisera are remarkably kind and provide help with any matter. The menu features fresh selections. The workers make you feel welcome. The place is accessibly located and we'll come back.

My family and I celebrated my birthday at BINONDO, and the entire experience was truly memorable.

Since it was my first time trying Filipino food, I didn't know what to order, but the staff was fantastic—all their recommendations were delicious! The food was outstanding and well-executed. My personal favorites were the Chicken Adobo, the fish dish, and the Crispy Kare-Kare—a definite must-try! And, of course, you absolutely must finish your meal with the Halo-Halo.

What really set this experience apart was the excellent service and their attention to detail. My mother has dietary restrictions (vegetarian), and the server was happy to check with the chef and graciously modify one of the appetizers for her. We were so appreciative of their willingness to accommodate us.

The atmosphere was great, and the cocktails were also delicious. Highly recommend BINONDO for a celebratory and authentic Filipino-Chinese dining experience in Manhattan!

We went there after seeing all the nice posts on Tik tok and IG. The food look good in the post. So we booked for an intimate dinner for 4. We got there, the restaurant is pretty empty, and the food ain’t great at all. We ordered the sisig, and it wasn’t even sizzling! We asked the server who’s serving us why is not sizzling and he said nothing. But the table next to us got the sizzling sisig, and we didn’t. Ok! When we asked for the bill, literally the whole wall lights fell on us, they said sorry and move on. Nothing was comp! It was bad, and I don’t know why everyone said it was good. The rest of the food was ok, nothing special.

We had a fantastic dinner for our group of 7. Thank you so much to Chef Augee and team for the delicious food, drinks, and hospitality. A truly a wonderful addition to Chinatown. You expertly balanced the traditional flavors we love as a Filipino American family and you brought a newness to dishes that delighted even my Mom and my very discerning Tita’s. Our favorites were the Pancit Negra, Crispy Pork Kare Kare and the Special Halo Halo. There was not one complaint from our group. The joy and laughter from our table was only matched by our deafening silence when we were all stuffing our faces with your incredible food - sarap! We left with happy bellies and can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu.

The kitchen here isn't satisfied with doing what's expected. The atmosphere here enhances the experience. I bring different friends each time. Staff members ensured we'd remember our experience. You'll find yourself completely satisfied.

Food looked good and tasted OK. Portions were less than minimal for the price. Food took forever to be served.

The waitress was nice, but it was only 1 wait staff for the entire restaurant.

The bartender (who was not busy) prepared our drinks and left it on the counter for 15+ minutes before the waitress had time to bring it to our table. At one point, he did helped refill the water glasses but skipped several tables (including our table).

+3.99% service for using a credit card.

Suggested tip is 20-22-25-30%….which is calculated “after taxes” and service charges.

Everything was delicious omg. Every vegetable was cooked perfectly (amazing)!!! And each dish tasted unique and was seasoned well (at other restaurants, all dishes can kinda taste the same.) My family loved the sisig (not pictured) and the huge halo halo of course (all the toppings were perfect.) The char on the vegetables in the kare kare was chefs kiss. Thank you Kabisera for your food at BINONDO !!! <3 I can't wait to go back and bring more people.

This is not your typical Filipino food — they definitely put some twists into their dishes. We tried four items from the menu: Beef Kare-Kare, Lumpiang Shanghai, Pork Sisig, and Beef Ampalaya. The highlights for us were the Lumpiang Shanghai and the Beef Ampalaya, both of which we enjoyed.

On the other hand, the Kare-Kare didn’t quite hit the spot; it was on the dry side, not the usual soupy style we expected, and it was lacking vegetables. While the presentation was nice, the overall quality wasn’t there. As for the Sisig, it had more onions than meat, which threw off the balance.

That said, the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the dining experience more enjoyable. I can’t speak for the rest of the menu since these were the only dishes we tried, but based on our experience, it was a bit of a mixed bag.

This is the example of great idea but poor execution. The food looks good, but does not taste good. Overpriced! The service is nice but insufficient. If you’re looking for Filipino food, go elsewhere for better experience and price.

Binondo by Kabisera is such a refreshing addition to the Chinatown food scene. The space feels warm and inviting, and the service makes you feel taken care of right away. The menu is rooted in Filipino comfort food but brings in those Filipino-Chinese influences that make it stand out—pancit,m and bok choy with oyster sauce sit alongside classics like sisig. The pancit was the real star for me, easily one of the best I’ve had in the city.
