The meals was really good. Service was excellent, was hoping for a little bit spicier/hot food but I understand they have to cater to everyone hence it was a bit on the sweeter side. Amazing drinks- Powerhouse was great with that smoke flavour.
Again a most fantastic dinner had at Saar before the theater. Always a beautiful experience, the food is delish and we were celebrated so lovingly for Valentines Day with roses, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries! Thank you Saar we will see you again soon.

I don't recall the name; it had ice cream as the basis and was over-frozen when it arrived at our table. In summary, I have mixed feelings about the restaurant, but in general, it is more than OK.

Our first time here won't be our last! Food and customer service were the best. We would continue to go early in the evening, however; by 6:30 or so it got too loud for us. Was no longer conducive to conversation without shouting.

Saar is a great place for pre-theater dining, fixed price menu has great choices, prawns appetizer was worth fighting over, entres were equally good and the warm lentil moong dal desert delightfully delicious.

Too expensive for the quality of food and the service. When I say I was allergic to cilantro they brought me a cilantro sauce instead of the mint sauce I asked. Mango lassi was served in glass full of dust and I had an allergic reaction

Brilliant food, so flavorful. Right across the street from the Gershwin theater. Lovely staff. Music way too loud, almost hard to hear my daughter sitting across from me. But the food was worth it. They are also very ready and open to accomodate you, and even made some things that weren't on the menu for the diners next to us.

Food was delicious. Glad we found this restaurant. We called because we were running late for our reservation and they were very understanding and kept our reservation for us. Service was outstanding at the table as well. We came with a group of 7 including our 3 children. We will definitely be back.

Ate here after watching Wicked. Convenient since it's right across from Theater. Service was good, food came out quick. Food was good but not outstanding. Couple of dishes lacked salt.
Overall great food - however, 20% gratuity was already added to the total without any notice and with a blank tip line on the signature receipt - which I find to be misleading. So, if they do have gratuity included, no need to tip!

We were taken here by a friend, and didn't expect much. After all, everything in the theatre district is pretty terrible, but this was exceptional! They have the best lamb chops I have ever tasted. Great food, very good service, and not too noisy. A perfect place to eat dinner before going to a show. Don't forget to order the lamb chops!!!
The food is very good and authentic. The music and crowd noise was too loud and dampened the overall experience. Also it was very warm inside making it uncomfortable. Overall good but not great experience

Great personable service. Cocktails were unique and very good. Samosas tasty appetizers were perfect for two of us. My favorite was the jalapeño and cheese samosa. The jackfruit byrini was very tasty with awesome spices. The chicken korma paired with the roti was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
I am from Dallas, Tx and this is by the far the absolute best Indian food I have ever had in my life. My server Tanmmy was an absolute professional in every sense. Tanmmy made my experience absolutely wonderful, I will definitely be back. I would very highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing meal.
