We went before a concert at MSG. The ambiance and service were wonderful. The appetizers (caprese salad and the assorted sliced meats and cheese) were great. For main courses we were really disappointing - the short rib with polenta and the salmon was just okay. For dessert the almond flour GF chocolate cake was a disappointment - very dry. The end of the evening was saved with the great cappuccino with frangelica and Baileys.
Wonderful food, drinks, service and atmosphere. It was a perfect restaurant for us to have dinner before our show at MSG. We will definitely return!
815 pm reservation. seated promoltly . waitress was nasty . rushed. very loud place... she might consider moving closer to customers so that they can hear . “ are there half bottles of wine ?” ... “no. if it's not listed , then NO” she acted annoyed with questions annoyed that we didn't order fast enough would disappear as we asked questions. our ordering process was very rushed and high pressure. everything rushed . food arrived quickly . plates pushed around other plates as they arrived . i ordered a cod/ pasta in a “light tomato's broth” it arrived and was tony and was not as described . had zero broth . it just had a couple cherry tomatoes . it was a totally different dish than described in the menu . I explained this . she said “ it's how it always is !” nasty I asked for different dish . she reluctantly complied . but was nasty food is cleared ... now, we are told that kitchen is closed ! it was 9:30 on a saturday ! our reservation was for 815 and now kitchen is closed at 9:30 . she was nasty about it we ordered zero dessert and got the hell out it was nasty food: good to excellent . not adventurous but solid all around . chef must be well trained but service as described was horrendous . cost : outrageous cost me $80 per person, only one beer and one appetizer , zero dessert , zero cocktails, zero cofee . wine was poured to the brim of the glass and wine was warm . clearly the entire meal was rushed why do you close a kitchen at 930 on saturday ? everyone was nasty
The food and service was excellent. We had three different pasta dishes and they were so tasty. The service was attentive and made good recommendations. Very adult dinner, very appreciated.
Our experience was fantastic. I had the best limoncello martini, the best chicken piccata and the best tiramisu I've ever imbibed. What a gem of a place: fast friendly service, excellent food and a quiet, casual atmosphere. Cannot wait to return to explore the generous menu.
Food was great but is 22% gratuity added on every table of 2 here? Becareful because gratuity of 22% is already included. If you tip you'll be leaving gratuity and tip.
Edit: I keep seeing this review pop up here and there, and I notice something new every time lol Their suggested tip is based on the total of subtotal + tax + gratuity. If you accidentally left an additional 20% tip, you would be leaving close to an additional 50% 😲
Just perfect italian food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Amazing Italian family
(I am the guy from Rockeys Maryland)
Food was awesome and waitress very sweet. Little crowded for late lunch but she handled everything perfectly
I have been looking forward to coming to here for some time as it was recommended by the apps and the proximity to Penn station. Overall food was ok and the service very fast but I do not recommend the Cacio y Pepe - the chef really needs to learn this dish. The affogato, however, was excellent.
On a side note, I was disappointed with the way they responded to my daughter’s inquiry about an item she lost: if you’re too busy to seriously respond, please consider taking their number and follow up later vs giving an abrupt dismissal.

Hidden gem in NYC. A quick walk from Penn Station, 5 for 1 happy hour drinks, and the food was really good. And relatively inexpensive for a Manhattan restaurant. What more can you ask for!
Cute place, great pasta. All the staff was super friendly. Our server was a little shy but very sweet and endearing. We got the Caesar salad with shrimp ($9 extra for three shrimp ☹️), the pappardelle pasta funghi, and the breaded chicken with arugula. The dark and stormy was not very cold and IMO could have had a better rum to Ginger beer ratio… but I digress. The dessert was delicious cannolis and they included little truffles at the end as a sweet send off.
Good vibes all around, I would definitely come back.
One of my favorite restaurants in the city! The food is always amazing and the staff is so friendly. Highly recommend if you want quality Italian food.
The pork chop with potatoes was just 🤌🏽
Jordyn, El, and Izabell are wonderful servers. Started with Mozzarella Caprese,French Beans, and Insalata Di Mare. Entrees were Penne Bolognese special and Shrimp Arreganata and a side of meatballs. Wow the food was incredible. Some Tito's and Menabrea Ambers made for a fun night. Thank you. We will be back
