This is my favorite neighborhood haunt. I almost don't want to say more because I love the easygoing, no reservations kind of vibe. But it's a special atmosphere with very consistent, simple French food.
One of my favorite bistros in the city. The newly added french onion soup is classic yet excellent, the coin-coin confit rivals Balthazar's duck confit (the only two duck dishes I enjoy), the mussels' creamy broth is intoxicating, the pork medallion filet minion is delicious and the atmosphere, whether inside or out, is inviting and comfy. Best Mussels (and frites) in the city. Coin coin (duck) never disappoints and their steak is perfect. Hard to beat Les Enfants in food, chill vibe and location. Spicy Gringo is yummy for cocktails.

If you come here for brunch, their Croque Madam is my favorite. (Chef’s kiss)
