I had the beef noodles soup, and I thought it was okay. The beef was tender, and the noodles were cooked well. However, it was just missing that bite that makes you want to eat more. I've had other Xi'an style food where you just want to keep eating it because the spice, the broth, and the protein all came together. Other that, there were plenty of seats and a counter where you can just go order and pick up when your number is called, so that is a plus! And it is fairly priced.
The best around omg it’s so good and affordable real handmade Chinese noodles with amazing sauces and broths and the pork dumplings are so damn good
Beef noodle soup was incredible.
A wonderful stop for a quick bite and found myself taking time to enjoy the atmosphere.
Went here with a group of 9 people after visiting the cafe above. The portions were big and generously priced considering the location of the shop. The bottled iced tea was much more expensive than I thought though, did not see the price before purchase.
We happen to come by this place after visiting 2by2 Cafe above it. The dumplings were so delicious, and we actually watched them hand make them! The noodles in the soup were perfect! Not crowded and fast service. Highly recommend.
Excellent hand pulled beef noodle soup.
The best food, I love the hand pulled noodles and the burger, is delicious the atmosphere is simple and dark but ok. There is almost no line and the service is fast. You can see how they make the noodles. Is my comfort food.
I was super hungry when I got there...everything looked good on the menu. I don't know anything about Xi'an Chinese food. I got the Beef Noodle soup, the noodles were delicious. Broth was salty, not too spicy, pretty good. I could deal with that. BUT, the beef was absolutely the worst beef I have ever gotten in NYC. No, in any restaurant in my entire life. It looked like beef jerky, super tough and gamey, with crunchy strands of fat in it. Not soft fat, tough and crunchy fat. But I tried to eat it, but ended up removing every piece from my mouth with a napkin. The person with me tried it and laughed because it was inedible. I finished the noodles because I was starving, but I won't be going back. Oh, and they won't give you a cup of water with your food, they only have single serve plastic bottles for purchase. Maybe I need to know more about this style of food, but in terms of just tasting good, I didn't think it was good.
Great flavor

When I see a door botched together with a pile os wood barely closed and only mandarin being spoken in the store, you know it's good.
Randomly walked into this place and no joke was one of the best noodles ive ever had. Ig wasn’t too starchy and the texture was amazing. Flavour was there as welll.

I wanted to like this but the flavors are off. The meat is overly salty while the sauces and noodles are bland. It just didn't come together well.
We tried the cumin lamb and qishan pork noodles
Under the chilled Cafe 2By2 is the hidden Bites of Xi’an. I love dark northern Chinese street food vibe. The food is great! It brought me back to Xi’an, a beautiful ancient city rich with history, culture and flavors. ?
