Black Seed Bagels Brookfield Place

Located in the back of a crowded food court on the second floor, this place had short lines and fast service. Quick, friendly. The sesame bagel was toasted perfectly and the eggs and cheese were quite good. Nothing synthetic tasting here. The bagel itself lacked any special taste -- the pores were small like cake, the texture was springy but without the exterior firmness.

This place has really gone downhill. A strong staff has been replaced by kids who don’t care. The food is rarely good—usually cooked incorrectly (we’re talking about toasting bagels, for God’s sake). They don’t bother to give you a number or put your food in a bag. It’s too important to sing along with their music.

What a wonderful bagel experience! Service was great and staff was friendly. The toasted bagel was perfect! Soft and chewy on the inside, crunchy and delicious on the outside.
The cream cheese was lovely, airy and whipped. Salmon was fresh and tasty. And the capers just made everything perfect.
Best lox bagel Ive had in years! And the menu is plentiful too, offering tuna salad, pastrami and much much more 🥯

I can't speak for any other locations, but the Brookfield Place kiosk is a joke.
How hard is it to toast a bagel and spread butter on it? Apparently it's very hard because when you order what should be the most basic item you could ask for from a bagel shop, what you'll get is warm, soggy bread that isn't even hot enough to melt the slab of butter they smear on it. Literally one pass through the inadequate conveyer belt toaster then smear some butter on it and send it to the customer. No care for quality at all.
I guess what I'm really mad at is the fact that I keep forgetting how crappy this location is and keep going back for the same trash every few months.
Save your time and money. You'll get a better bagel at Amazon Go.

pretty poorly run shop. management must've turned a blind eye to this one. not a good look on the brand - slow, asked for toasted but think they put it in the fridge, cashier isn't attentive...

My bagel was burnt and took entirely too long. They didnt give me a receipt for my order number. These teenagers working here do not care for the quality of my bagel.

Visited on October 6. Excellent 'special' bagel as my husband didn't know what to order for me. Would go there again. Lovely view of the Hudson on a bright sunny day.

half an hour before closing the shop assistants refused to make me a decent bagel. They had already closed practically all the ingredients. Annoyed, rude, lazy. Very bad.

2nd time incorrect lunch order - missing ingredient (pickles) and waited for 10 minutes for a $15 bagel sandwich. Already back to the office. No time to go back for refund for correction. Very very very disappointing.

Love Black Seed Bagel. Dislike this location. Unlikely to get lunch from this location again or recommend this location to colleagues.

really good bagel, better than the liberty ones! I highly recommend. Furthermore you can eat sitting down with a beautiful view
