Cute little bustling spot tucked away on 24th st. I got a flat white and an egg, cheddar cheese, and avocado croissant. The flat white was smooth and velvety. The sandwich was very good: I ordered my egg over easy, so it was nice and runny, and the cheese and avocado tasted super-fresh. The croissant was nice and chewy on the inside, flaky on the outside. My friend enjoyed a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel with tomatoes, red onion, and capers. There are a few tables and some bench seating inside, but overall, there's only space for about six people to dine in. All inside spots were occupied, so we grabbed the lone table outside as it was a relatively mild winter day. We'll definitely be back to try some more dishes, drinks, and pastries.

Cute cafe in the Gramercy / rose hill area. Solid, affordable coffee w/ stamp card rewards. Especially love black star for its bakery options; my personal favorite is the zaatar croissant. It can get very busy on weekend mornings, but the staff is very efficient (and very friendly).tip: i think they recently instated a card minimum

That cronut was one of the worst things I ate in my whole life. I want my $4 back. That was horrendous.

The female cashier was extremely rude. I was trying to order a breakfast burrito today and I think she was trying to ask me what kind of wrap I wanted for the burrito but she spoke fast so I did not understand what she was saying. When I asked her to please repeat herself, she rolled her eyes at me and became visibly annoyed, which made me want to cancel my order and just go somewhere else. I honestly wish I had just done this because my experience continued to worsen. I sat down while I was waiting for my order and a few moments later, there was an order ready so I went up to check if it was mine and the lady snapped at me and said no that's for Michelle. All I was trying to do was check the receipt next to the order to see if it was mine. Her attitude was unacceptable and soured my experience.

I love this little bakery. It has a very relaxing and cute vibe - only I think 2 tables and a couple window seats inside but there's some outdoor seating as well for when the weather is nice. It's next to a comedy club. I usually come here on the way to work. Their croissants are divine (fresh and flaky)- They have an egg and cheese one that's perfect for breakfast and their egg salad croissant is also phenomenal - super fresh. They also have an assortment of baked goods including some less common ones like canneles and scones and I believe they change them out regularly. The staff are also very, very nice. The prices are pretty reasonable and the service is also quick. I love it here.

Cute spot! The Lox bagel was very good, I wished their cold brew coffee was not as watered down.

I wanted to take a photo of my yummy avocado on croissant breakie sandwich, but I couldn't help it and just ate it instead . They have great coffee, great baked goods and whatever they put in their sandwiches, it's just perfect.Service is friendly and quick. Can't recommend enough.

My experience at this place was wonderful. The Yoghurt Bowl, Sandwich, and Matcha Latte and croissant roggala were all delightful, and I can't wait to come back and try more of their offerings. The quality of the food and the overall experience, it's definitely worth a visit.Ambiance and Service: The cafe had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for both working or catching up with friends. Coffee is decent and the atmosphere is really cute, but portion sizes of food are really small. I ordered the waffle for $12 and when I got home and opened the box, I realized I’m still going to be hungry.
