Cute little bustling spot tucked away on 24th st. I got a flat white and an egg, cheddar cheese, and avocado croissant. The flat white was smooth and velvety. The sandwich was very good: I ordered my egg over easy, so it was nice and runny, and the cheese and avocado tasted super-fresh. The croissant was nice and chewy on the inside, flaky on the outside. Cute cafe in the Gramercy / rose hill area. Solid, affordable coffee w/ stamp card rewards. Especially love black star for its bakery options; my personal favorite is the zaatar croissant. It can get very busy on weekend mornings, but the staff is very efficient (and very friendly).tip: i think they recently instated a card minimum
I love this little bakery. It has a very relaxing and cute vibe - only I think 2 tables and a couple window seats inside but there's some outdoor seating as well for when the weather is nice.
