Food was great! The New Yorker shake is to die for!! The service was a little lackluster they took a while to come and bring us out our food and it even took a while to place our order after we got seated and handed menus. But we will definitely be back!

On our fourth day in New York, we had a reservation at Black Tap, a place known for its burgers and over-the-top milkshakes. With a solid 4.5 stars on Google, expectations were pretty high — and overall, it didn’t disappoint.

This isn’t a fancy restaurant by any means. The vibe is urban and loud, with hard wooden benches, upbeat music, and a trendy crowd. If you’re looking for a quiet dinner, this isn’t your spot — but if you’re after good food...

I had a burger and it was AMAZING! The cups there are really small though and filled with ice, just drink water instead. I ordered a Brooklyn Blackout shake and OMG it was incredible. Piled high with chocolate chips and whipped cream, and it had brownies sticking out of the side. Highly recommend. This place is awesome and the vibe is incredible.
