Great sushi! Great ramen!
Came right at the start of lunch and had no issues finding seating. This place can for sure get crowded around 1PM and between 5:30 to 7:30PM, for sure recommend getting a reservation if you're in a group bigger than 4. I've been coming here for a few years now, and with how solid the menu is, this is usually my go to restaurant to take my friends visiting out of state, especially if they love Japanese food!
Make sure to try the kimchi cream udon and the agedashi tofu!
We came here for dinner, and the place was absolutely packed. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, but it was 100% worth it. Once we were seated, the service was fast, attentive, and efficient despite how busy the restaurant was.
The food was outstanding! My favorite was the Yaki Corn, perfectly charred and smoky, coated with buttery seasoning, topped with grated cheese, and finished with a hint of spice and fresh herbs. Every bite was sweet, savory, creamy, and incredibly...read full review

Izakaya MEW is a lively spot serving Japanese cuisine in a cozy basement setting. The menu offers a range of dishes, including chef's skewers, gyu don, kimchi cream udon, and more. The restaurant is known for its unbelievably tasty and unique food, with dishes like the kimchi cream udon being rich and flavorful. The gyoza and yellowtail carpaccio are also standout items—fresh, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. While some items like omu soba and hotate carpaccio may not always hit the mark, the overall quality is high. The service is quick and friendly, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere makes the experience enjoyable. The cozy vibe can be quite loud, and the basement location means wheelchair accessibility is limited, along with small restrooms. Despite these limitations, the pork curry remains a standout dish, and the authentic Japanese touches make this a great place for a meal.
