I was lucky enough to stumble upon this gem earlier this week. I’ve had many arepas before, but never stuffed.. My husband and I tried 2 different types (I cannot remember which ones exactly but two of them had plantains in them…YUM). Each one was delicious! And so filling. Costas is a South American restaurant serving up handcrafted artisanal arepas. This was my second time ordering from Costas Arepas Bar. The first time I ordered from them was a little over a year ago- I had the ' choose 2' and tried the Pepiada and Mrs Chang arepa. The arepas are made on white corn masa so they're not particularly sweet; they're more neutral tasting which makes them a good vessel for whatever they're filled with. I'm admittedly a sucker for arepas, but this place was great. Wanted something to order for pickup as I had a work zoom that I needed to get back to my desk and take. The online ordering was easy, the food was ready quickly and best of all it was delicious.
