A friend and I went in late night to buy beverages, and they were all warm. We tried to see if there were colder ones at the back of the cooler they're kept in, and they were all warm. As we looked for colder drinks a worker (I presume some kind of store attendant) proceeded to watch us and close the distance between him and us. Mind you, there was a handful of other customers in the store at the time, but only we had been so blatantly watched. Profiled over a search for cold drinks

The man that works the night shift behind the sandwich counter around 2am on Friday nights is a horrible person. It was raining outside and I was looking around for a specific flavor of Gatorade and he came up to me immediately asking if I was actually buying anything. He then proceeded to say how he didn’t want customers bringing in water from outside (which is inevitable considering our shoes literally touch the puddles outside). The man behind the cashier tried to be nice and brush off the remarks of the other guy but he kept on going and going. He literally kicked out girls that were looking around just because they weren’t immediately buying something. So uninviting and made me feel very uncomfortable as I was looking through the aisles. I’m not sure what his name is but he was on the shorter size and was wearing a backwards baseball cap.

This is my spot!!! I’ve been coming here for about 5 years. The two guys at night I think are the managers or owners and they’re awesome, so nice and know how to run things. Kindness goes a long way and the guys at night are super kind. The morning shift has a different crew different vibe, and they make AMAZING SANDWICHES!! The morning chef makes amazing everything, unfortunately the only downside is the morning chef seems to be a bit more hospitable towards Latino’s and women, but hey it’s new York and everybody’s plays favorites. Overall I’d still call this the best deli on Bleecker & possibly best deli in the village.

Cheese sandwich was okay, but the issue I have is that I was overcharged. I ordered a cheese sandwich for $5.50 with tax and a Red Bull for $3.80 with tax, and I was charged $10.10. I didn't notice it until I walked out. I'm going to lodge a 311 complaint with the city. Let's see what happens.

This is a very great deli the staff is outstanding and very courteous, you can find many unique products, like high end beef jerky’s, verb energy bars, emotional utility beverage, and so many other products! Ask for these you will enjoy them very much !
