Unfortunately our waitress was not pleasant and one of the entrees came out cold. When it came out from being reheated the server made comment that the food was scalding hot but it came across very passive aggressive.
We had a delightful evening experience at BLTPrime. We felt welcome from the minute we arrived. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We ordered the Caesar salad, filet mignon, Delmonico steak and a special Wagyu beef dish. We also had creamed spinach, mushrooms hens of the woods and mashed potatoes. I highly recommend it.
BLT Prime left me underwhelmed. The steaks, while flavorful, were disappointingly chewy and lacked the tenderness you'd expect at this price point. Service was fine but nothing memorable. Overall, it felt more average than exceptional. Not terrible, but not a place I'd rush back to for another meal.
In town from Miami. Had an excellent experience. The food was outstanding and the service great. Like most upscale restaurants in NY a bit pricey, but worth the trip.
Our Server Karina was amazing we have dined there numerous times its always fabulous, but she was exceptional, the steak the popovers the potato skins were heavenly!
so hot and cold. this time was very good food. They changed the chef or something - the bacon was lean and the steaks were seasoned well. Wine bottle prices are absolutely astronomical and not even high end selections. What are they thinking. If I'm gonna spend $300 for a Piedmont wine, you better have a Barolo or a Barbaresco in your cellar?!? Service was meh. waitress:"Is everything ok with your meal"? "no, I order the salad with the dressing on the side", waitress: "I'm sorry" and walked away.
Absolutely fantastic meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary with a trip to NY. We opted for the restaurant week menu, 3 courses for $60, which was a great deal. The food was excellent and filet mignon cooked to perfection. A great meal and would love to return when I am back.
It would have been 5 stars across-the-board if it hadn't been so damned cold in there despite several requests to adjust the air conditioning.
We visited BLT Prime during restaurant week. The food we ordered was delicious and our waiter was attentive and helpful in steering us to great choices. As an added treat, the popovers were terrific!
Last minute on a Tuesday evening looking for steak on the UES, we found this fabulous place. The popovers! Wow. The lobster Cobb salad was amazing, and steak and sides were perfect. Lovely ambiance, great service, and really nice location. Highly recommend!

We normally celebrate our anniversary here. This time we came for restaurant week and as usual this place NEVER disappoints ever. Yummiest lobster appetizer, watermelon salad was phenomenal, thick cut bacon melts in your mouth and oh those potatoes to die for. Finally got a steak cooked perfectly and was beyond delish. Staff always very friendly and take care of you quite well. Fast service and always excellent drinks and wine recommendations...you cannot go wrong ever with BLT Prime our hands down favorite and will be back in September for my husbands birthday.
I was very excited to find a menu for Restaurant Week that did not have chicken and salmon as choices for the Entrees. The watermelon/feta salad, although refreshing, had almost no feta cheese. More a dessert than an appetizer. We all ordered filet mignon (meat was tender and the portion a very nice size - 6 ounces). However, we ordered the steak "medium rare." Everyone's steak was rare! Disappointing that BLT cannot serve a medium rare steak! The cream in the macha cream puff was quite nice, but the chou pastry was dry. It needed a light fruit sauce. Overall, the food was a disappointment.
I love all of the BLT restaurants, and we particularly enjoyed BLT Prime on Lex. The service was great, food excellent, great atmosphere. We will go back soon.
Very enjoyable evening with good service, nice atmosphere, good food and great popovers! Wonderful neighborhood steak house
We walked in and were immediately greeted at the door. We were given several menus. We ordered from the restaurant week menu. I'm gluten free and my sister is vegan which was accommodated for in the restaurant week menu. My sister got bib salad, cauliflower steak, and the chocolate tart. I got the watermelon salad, filet mignon, and the strawberry sundae. My friend got the meatball, filet mignon, and strawberry sundae. My sister got the summer sangria and my friend/ myself got the bikini bottom drink. We were given chicken pate and crostini's and the waiter came out with gf chips for me. I was pleasantly surprised. We all really liked everything. My only problem was i ordered well done for my filet and the outside was burnt. I still ate it but I was alittle disappointed. Service was great we kept being checked on and our table was cleared after every course.
