The idea is that they provide above average coffee, which may be true, but the experience here isn’t good at all. Cashier guy looked pissed that I wanted to order coffee. I tipped him, not sure why… also looked unhappy about that. While I sat and tried to enjoy the coffee there was so much gossip and conversation from the staff, it was impossible to enjoy the experience. So, I highly recommend Nussbaum & Wu, star bucks or the new Turkish place. But not this location

After a run, my friend and I decided to get some coffee and chai. My friend wanted the coffee, but Blue Bottle didn't have honey or cinnamon as condiments. For such a high end coffee shop, they should have those things. My chai was full of foam. The customer service was trash, especially from the cashier. He looked like he hated life. Well, tried it, won't be going back

Love the coffee, but the service is hit-or-miss. One barista was clearly frazzled, and yesterday the wait was long with staff seemingly preoccupied. My coworker even noticed the stressed vibe.

The staff is really friendly and the matcha is consistently excellent. Sometimes they will do fun laté art. Around Christmas the barista drew a grinch in my matcha it was adorable ?
