I’m a pretty regular patron of Hex and co and I’ve always had an excellent time due to the care and knowledge of the staff.They make us feel welcome and really know what makes the community tick to keep everyone happy and having fun.The only thing holding me back from recommending this store is the lack of support from ownership of the workers Union. They deserve to be recognized for their hard work and compensated appropriately for it.
Hex & Co is a fantastic game store and cafe with a fun community and workers who care about the games and gaming events that they run. Highly recommended for families, students, or anyone else looking to have fun. Part of what makes Hex & Co great is that their employees are unionized, which means they have a reason to engage with and build the communities at the store, particularly for Magic: the Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer 40K, and others. I love Hex & Co, and I love the staff there. I appreciate how knowledgeable the staff are about a wide variety of games, including Magic, D&D, and board games. Definitely in support of the unionizing workers, and I will be into the store more if ownership supports workers needs during the Union organizing effort. This is a great store and great community location, and it will become even greater as workers are better supported.
