Oren’s Coffee Reviews
Ordered a large latte, but it wasn’t even filled to the top. I only chose this place because it’s on my way to class
It’s too bad it’s to-go only because it’s one of my favorite coffee shops in the city. So consistently high quality, somehow they taste better than any other hole in the wall shops, maybe because they offer soy milk ;) Amazing selection of pastries too. They also have a student discount and rewards, so worth it if you live and study nearby
Oren’s is my go-to coffee spot near Columbia. Great coffee, delicious pastries, and fun syrups. I also buy coffee beans from home here. The baristas are always friendly and the student discount is an extra bonus.

Oren's Coffee is a popular spot for a great cup of coffee. Their drip coffee is well-brewed and satisfying, with a light blend and citrus notes. The baristas are charismatic and friendly, helping customers choose from their seasonal menu offerings, such as the Single Ladies!!! flavor. While service can be hit-or-miss, the overall vibe is great, and many customers leave feeling satisfied and planning to return.
The in-store coffee quality can be inconsistent, with some customers experiencing sour or bitter cups. However, the Beowulf Blend is noted as one of the best espressos, though it is on the expensive side. Oren's has faced challenges during the Pandemic, leading to the closure of some locations, but they still serve quality beans, including specialty options like Colombia and Jamaica Blue Mountain. Many appreciate that Oren's coffee is less expensive compared to other options in the area, and recent visits show friendly staff, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.
