Food was excellent. Waitress was friendly, efficient and accommodating. Maitre d' was gruff, brusque and not accommodating.
Super high quality seafood, excellent service. And although a bit pricier than other restaurants of its kind, well worth it.
The food is always great. Any raw bar that has been open this long is doing something right
Blue was an intimate experience with moderate noise level, but the happy hour specials and raw bar options were superb and a perfect balance of feeling like a full meal without leaving you stuffed or your wallet empty.
Outstanding little restaurant. Great, attentive service, amazing food and great decor/atmosphere.
Food was solid as usual. We love the salt caked Bronzino for both the preparation, taste and value. Only gave 4 stars this time around as I do not appreciate restaurants automatically opening new bottles of Pellegrino water without asking and charging $10 a pop.
Blue Seafood is a good low key restaurant with pretty reasonable prices for Hell's Kitchen. They have a nice happy hour at the bar from 4:00-7:00 with nice food selections. For dinner, my husband had the mushroom ravioli which was a gigantic portion and he loved it. I had the grilled octopus which was n the smaller side but delicious. Tiramisu for dessert capped off a lovely birthday dinner.
Food was amazing. I will be visiting again. The Bread and Calamari was the best I have had.
Tuna burger was great. BUT DO NOT BUY THE HAPPY HOUR OYSTERS. Just terrible. Either off or inedible. Hope I survive the night
A great experience overall. Both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat inside in a very comfortable atmosphere. The service was terrific and attentive. The food was outstanding with a lot of options. The seafood appetizers were great - $2 oysters from 4-7. The handmade pizza cooked in unique pizza oven was perfect. All of these were great but the cocktails were even better. Along with a pretty decent assortment of wine. There is a small inviting bar.

We ordered the Picolo seafood platter and it was ok crab was dry and so was the lobster. Service was great but food was just ok.
What a pleasant surprise. I wanted to meet a friend in that area and came across Blue Seasfood on a Monday happy hour and dinner. I will now come from the east side on a regular basis to this wonderful discovery.
Our server was incredible. The food was amazing. I ordered the Bronzino and it was so nice when the waitress brought it out to show me before the chef hooked it. We chose this restaurant because it was outside of the theater district and had more of a neighborhood feel. It lacked any pretense. Overall a great experience. Everybody in the party enjoyed their meals one Branzino, 2 Salmons one pasta.
One of the best places in NYC! We always dine here when we're in the city, because we particularly love the pastas and the fish. They also do a really good happy hour, with $2 oysters and $15 pizzas. The service is also impeccable, all the waiters are super nice, especially Mihaela, a tall blonde Romanian lady who is probably our favorite person there! My wife and I will definitely be coming back here next time we're in New York!
We've eaten here often for birthdays and always have a wonderful experience. I was celebrating my 65th birthday! Food and wine are consistently delicious. The wait staff is amazing! We usually drink red wine but decided to have white due to the heat wave and our meal choices. I was unfamiliar with the selections offered and narrowed it down to a couple. Our waitress was extremely helpful in selecting one. I asked her, what happens if I don't like it? She replied, that won't happen (LOL) She was right! We had the branzino, fingerling potatoes and broccoli rabe. Everything was delicious! We had the apple tarte for dessert and was thrilled when it came with a lit candle with singing for my special day. Thank you!
