Found a wonderful local spot in NYC! Menu is absolutely amazing, huge portions priced right you won’t leave hungry! Super attentive & friendly staff keeps us coming back year after year! Cool decor & comfy vibe! 5 stars every visit!
I am visiting from California and was at our daughter's dance event at Alvin Ailey Dance. Across the street was Route 66 Cafe. It was the perfect place to drop and eat. The food was delicious, the flies were to die for. The server was so attentive. My wife and I enjoyed the atmosphere, which cost me an additional glass of wine for her, she wanted to linger a little longer.

I think they recently started opening for breakfast. Overall the food is your average diner breakfast. I had a great waffle.But as amazing waffles in this neighborhood come and go, I’m enjoying this brief moment of waffle greatness while it lasts.
