Bluestone Lane Tribeca Café

I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was terrible—our server completely ignored our table for 15 minutes, and when I finally got their attention, they didn’t even remember seating us. When I mentioned we were on a lunch break and needed to be mindful of time, the response was just, “Oh, I’m so sorry,” with no real urgency to fix the situation.

The bathroom was another issue. It was extremely dirty, with debris on the floor, and there was no toilet paper. Multiple people walked out complaining, and instead of replenishing supplies, an employee just handed out wet wipes. On top of that, there was only one bathroom, leading to long wait times.

To make matters worse, I got hit in the face by a door near the bathroom. An employee was bringing food in from the back and swung the door open without any warning, hitting me directly. No one even checked if I was okay.

Between the poor service, unsanitary conditions, and complete lack of awareness, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

It’s a great cafe, we took a call there and had amazing potato wedges. The smoothie (Bondi blue smoothie) was not that great.. but the sandwich was yummy. The service was great, they understood that we are vegetarian and helped us out with the order. Must go if you like potato wedge!

The place and location is perfect but the food is respectfully mid. Wanted a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant, but they didn’t got any. We got it on the roll instead. We asked for ketchup, it had black crumbs in it?? Yeah respectfully, the place a hit or miss.

The food overall was really good. We ordered the BL burrito, which was good. The juice was really good, ginger with carrot but the smoothie was not that great. The blueberry smoothie was mostly bland, had like water consistency and the taste lacked flavor and it didn’t look at all like the picture provided in the menu. The service and waiters were overall great.

Very cute cafe, staff was friendly and food was delicious. I do feel the service could be better and the tables and chairs could be a bit cleaner but overall okay. Definitely will visit the dumbo location.

We recently visited and honestly expected more. Firstly the premises was noticeably cold which was a shame given the outside temperature. My wife's order was wrong with the waiter disinterested when brought to his attention. Blueberry pancakes were fantastic as were the coffees and hot chocolate.
