Update - go here - Incredible speak easy style spot. People there were super hospitable. Drinks were awesome and creative. Food was delicious.
Overall great. The oysters and bbq shrimp were wonderful we ended up ordering more bread just to soak up the sauce (10/10) drinks are good too. The Gumbo is fine, I would go another direction for an entree. The praline and ice cream was a perfect ending.
The food, drinks and vibes are great a Holywater. I also had the nicest server I’ve seen. Every time she showed up to our table, she had a big smile and great attitude. She was happy to be there.

Holywater is a restaurant and bar with a fun decor and New Orleans-inspired drinks. The bartenders are attentive and friendly, making sure guests feel welcome. The menu features delicious dishes such as hush puppies, lobster and frites, and a waygu burger. The atmosphere is lively and fun, with a vibe that feels like being on a ship, even if the entrance may seem uninviting at first. The walls are filled with interesting decor that guests could explore for hours. The drinks are good and fairly priced, with wine available at the same price as cocktails. The food presentation is excellent, and the chef does an amazing job with flavors that combine the best of NOLA with a touch of NYC. Holywater is a great spot for a date or hanging out with friends, especially for visitors from out of the city. It has a small but lively bar area that’s perfect for meeting up. Reservations are recommended because the space is limited. Despite its size, the place offers great cocktails, good music, and a fun, energetic vibe.
