So freaking good and very accommodating to vegans :) They can make the dals, chana masala, jeera aloo, and more vegan. It’s always the food I crave most after coming home from a long trip. And we live nearby so the staff often deliver themselves — they are always so sweet. Truly a joy to have in the neighborhood!!
The place has aced the food for the soul. There is Americanized Indian food and then there is tonned down Indian food and this place has nailed the right flavor and texture that rekindles your memory when you sip the chai and take a bite of the samosa. Kudos to the team both at the the front end and in the backend. Would love to see this place prosper.

This is my favorite local restaurant. The food is consistently delicious and there is the a wonderful, warm atmosphere. My husband and I come almost every week and the owners treat us like family. Perhaps the most important part though is they have the BEST mango lassi in all of New York!!! We love Bombays and everyone there! Must try!!
