Bonchon Reviews
Ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhggggggggg
The new "boneless wings" are basically a copy of Applebee's boneless wings and a fary cry from the strips they used to offer. The small morsels of chicken were overbreaded and some of pieces rock hard. This is an obvious attempt to increase margin because you get MUCH less chicken for the exact same price.
Food: so good, made fast, and exactly what I expected.
Service: spotty but okay.
The tables and seats could have been bussed better the was old rice hanging around.
Nice place.
Menu
Bonchon 38th St offers a range of Korean-inspired dishes, including crispy fried chicken with juicy meat, and bibimbap. The service is generally friendly, with attentive staff making the dining experience enjoyable. The atmosphere is cool, providing a nice place to relax. While some dishes may lack flavor, the soy garlic fried chicken combo and seasoned fries are solid options. The Korean fried chicken is especially praised, with many customers finding it amazing and unforgettable. Although some have noted that certain items feel overpriced, others appreciate the large portions that are well-packaged for sharing. The restaurant also has a unique touch with hand wipes and features a second-floor seating area.
