I had the pleasure of visiting Bondi for the first time, and it was a fantastic experience. I was fortunate to arrive just in time for their lunch special, which was not only delicious but also very reasonably priced.
What stood out to me was the intimate atmosphere. Watching the chef prepare our meals right in front of us added a personal touch that made the dining experience feel special. The attention to detail in both the food and the setting made it memorable. I’ll definitely be returning for more if I’m in the area.

With the hundreds of sushi restaurants in the area, it makes no sense to go to choose this one. For the price you pay, the quality is below average. Not only is the food disappointing, but the atmosphere feels drab and unwelcoming. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Just loved the salmon avocado, spicy salmon, tuna avocado, and spicy tuna sushi with brown rice. The yellow tail sashimi, the tuna tataki were very fresh and tasty. Enjoyed everything I ordered.

I have been going to Kazunori since it first opened in Los Angeles 5+ years ago and then in NY a few years later. This Bondi Sushi location has been open for 3 years and I never tried it even once over the last 3 years...not until last week. My wife and brother-in-law decided to try Bondi Sushi after seeing a line at Kazunori (right across the street) that went out the door. Upon receiving our food (the 5-roll option for $40), we were very pleasantly surprised at the portions, quality, and taste. I love Kazunori, don't get me wrong, but I appreciated how, for a slightly higher cost, Bondi Sushi's rolls had more fish, thicker seaweed that stays crunchy longer, and less or no MSG (what gives a lot of Asian food the savory, umami flavor). I would highly recommend Bondi Sushi and will go here again in the near future!
The food is really good, low key. Went for lunch as a group of 5. We were in and out on less than an hour.
