Good restaurant with some drawbacks. The restaurant is recommended by the Michelin guide (no star). I can't fully understand this. The calamari friti and the homemade papardelle with oxtail ragout tasted good, but not outstanding. The ragout lacked a bit of depth. In Germany no Michelin recommendation would have been made.The restaurant is very poorly lit and incredibly loud, making it difficult to have a conversation even with two people. Tonight I was at Ulivo restaurant with a friend to celebrate my birthday’s dinner. As I walked in I got welcomed by Enza, the manager and I was gently asked if I wanted to get a drink at the bar before getting seated. Drinks at the bar were top notch. After going to our table for dinner, we were greeted by Darja, our waitress. She went through the special and gave us some suggestion. Delicious Italian! Everything that I’ve ordered here is on point, I enjoyed every single bite from the complimentary Italian bread, appetizers, salad, main course, dessert and drink.
