Magical experience and ambiance. From the first step in the door, the staff greet you and offer the complimentary coat check. They check ID at the door and don’t allow under the age of 25. The staff and sommeliers are incredibly knowledgeable about all of their offerings. We got the 3 pour blind stave flight tasting and it was simply magical. I told our sommelier that I wanted a scotch flight from the Isles with finishes. They bring out your pours blind and check in with you on your opinions and guesses on flavors and which bottles you are drinking. It was New Year’s Eve so we were given the complimentary amuse bouche that included a foie gras pastry, an artichoke topped with hummus, and a tomato with mozzarella. The whiskeys were wonderful and the interior design is simply a dream. The reviews that say this place is inordinately expensive don’t factor in that they have some of the rarest bottles in the world, and there are plenty of pours and cocktails starting at $18 each.

I had a deeply disappointing experience at Brandy Library recently. While we were looking forward to a nice evening, the service we received—specifically from a server named Emma/Ama—was unprofessional and felt targeted. Our group felt consistently ignored and treated with a level of dismissiveness that was not shown to other tables. It was uncomfortable to feel as though we were being singled out or treated differently based on our background. This was further compounded by the extreme noise levels coming from the 'Chaos' room next door, which made the atmosphere chaotic rather than the refined experience this venue usually promises. Management needs to look into the conduct of their staff and how they handle diverse groups. We did not feel welcome here and won't be returning until these issues of service and inclusivity are addressed

I was treated very poorly by the staff, specifically Emma, the maître d’. She followed me around for most of the evening, which made the experience extremely uncomfortable. Her behavior was rude and unprofessional, and it’s surprising to see this in a hospitality setting. After reading other reviews, it seems this is a recurring issue. Overall, I would not recommend this place. The food was subpar, and while the drinks were okay, they didn’t make up for the service.

I have been going to Brandy Library almost since it opened. I almost have too much to say. It is the place to go to enjoy and learn about brown liquors. You can take a course there should you choose. They serve classic cocktails made perfectly. It's about the art not about strange combinations. The atmosphere is on point. Jazz on the speakers at a level that all conversation. No TVs and no one standing. The bar or comfortable settees If there's no room for you to sit they politely refuse your entrance. Great for a business drink or a place to sit with your partner and let the knowledgeable servers help you choose your drink. The finger food is not bad also. Make a reservation. Dress nicely.
