Food was amazing (saag paneer, bhuna chicken, cheese naan). Every part of the experience was well thought of, service was great, Preetham was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Dinner was delicious - we had the korma and moilee per recommendation of our server Gagan. Gagan was very attentive. We will return soon!

It is a beautiful location with attentive and understanding staff. Gagan was very kind while my friend and I suffered through the Phaal challenge and quickly gave up. Despite the pain and spice of the challenge (which, in and of itself I do not recommend), the other food tasted amazing! Highly recommend

This is a delightful and underrated place. The food is delicious. They have a large menu with tons of great options. The staff is friendly, polite and knowledgeable. are you here all the time and it’s one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood, definitely a great spot to get traditional British Indian style food.

I absolutely love this restaurant. They have the very best tandoori chicken in all of New York City. They give you 4 generous pieces with lots of onions and pepper, enough for 1 more dinner. I also ordered rice, tikka masala sauce for the rice (a fabulous! curry sauce), and garlic nan. Everything outstanding!! Your service is very attentive and sweet. I have been coming here for years and they never disappoint. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We tried the chai tea, the chicken Tikka Masala, the lamb saga and the garlic naan. High quality food. The meat in all the dishes was cooked to perfection. Neither the lamb nor the chicken were overcooked, chewy or dry. The decoration makes the space very relaxing and the service couldn't be better. The best part is they stay open till 2am.

The food was flavorful and spicy. The vindaloo and the madras both excellent. Gagan, as usual,, was our waiter and had everything run smoothly.

Excellent Indian food served in generous portions in an extremely nice environment. The new menu format makes ordering considerably easier for novices to Indian food. A second avenue gem that is gaining in appreciation.

My favorite Indian spot to order delivery from and eat at. Have been coming here for years and the food is always consistent and good. Love the little soup they serve as an appetizer when you’re dining in restaurant.

Wonderful food! I ordered the aloo gobi, vegetable pakora, and onion bhaji. The soup they brought to the table prior to us ordering was absolutely mesmerizing.

A couple of things:
-the papadum served at the table was unfortunately not vegan, and we were not told otherwise until I took a bite and immediately tasted shrimp/fishy flavor. I was pretty disappointed with that because the server knew I was vegan
-there should definitely be more non-alcoholic drink options! They only have soda and mango lassi (but nonvegan)
-I was also saddened to see that they had no vegan bread option. All of the naan, paratha, and tandoori roti on the menu had dairy. This is the first time I go to an Indian restaurant without a non-dairy bread option

Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options but not as many vegan.

Have been going to this restaurant since I moved to NYC eight years ago because I love the Phaal so much. I did the challenge twice in the first year I lived here and got it the second time. Since then I have been coming by sporadically to buy the Phaal sauce to go as a hot sauce to spice dishes at home. It is really good.

Also, basically every other dish I've had at this place is mediocre to bad. They do a mediocre job on all the favorite Indian and British-Indian dishes from the saag to the korma to the bhuna to the vindaloo. It is all totally average.

One more wrinkle: the service is great and the last time I came (in summer 2023) they had a robot!
