Even after dining at Michelin 3-star restaurants around the world, I have never experienced service this rude and humiliating. As a food content creator, I originally came here to take beautiful photos and promote this place positively, but what happened completely changed my mind.
One Chinese bald server had an extremely rude attitude. We repeatedly asked for the check, but he never came. Instead, he kept serving other large tables and chatting with other guests, deliberately ignoring us. Finally, he shouted at us, saying that we “must wait 20 minutes to pay because that’s the rule here,” and then added in Chinese, “This is not the kind of place you think it is.” The aggressive tone and words were filled with discrimination and arrogance. We could understand if the rule was that only he could handle the bill, but the way he yelled at us was simply unacceptable.
Even after we signed the tip as usual, he still forced us to open the bill in front of him to check whether we had signed the tip, which was humiliating and discriminatory. Other staff members were polite, but this one server’s behavior completely ruined the experience.
This is my very first time ever leaving a negative review on Google. Instead of recommending this restaurant, I now feel obligated to warn everyone: avoid this place at all costs. I will never come back.

Sensed some hostility and tension amongst the staff which is never a nice look. I enjoy the food here but my server was extremely short we could barely get him to take a moment and talk to us at a normal pace. Probably busy but still, he could probably earn better tips if he slowed down. Additionally I asked if the fries were gluten free. I *think* he said there is cross contamination because they fry it in the same fryer as the calamari. Not feel so great now so I am wondering if he meant they are fried in the same batter… jury is still out but that is a pretty big difference!

The food was very tasty, with portions big enough to fill you up even with just a salad. The atmosphere in the park was incredible — a little island of peace and quiet in the middle of a busy city. The service was excellent as well, with friendly and welcoming staff. I highly recommend this place.

Dinner on veranda. Food was wonderful, excellent service and surprisingly reasonably priced for location.

The atmosphere at Brian Park is absolutely incredible and having this patio and rooftop dining option with a bar adds to the beautiful experience that is Brian Park. The staff was incredibly friendly. The dinner options in the restaurant were very good. However, the rooftop seemed a little bit more like bar food. Their signature cocktails were actually pretty good. I would recommend going to the rooftop for a drink but if you want a better meal experience, definitely go downstairs to the restaurant. Enjoy!!

To begin with, dining right next to the spacious atmosphere of the Bryant Park on its own was a very pleasant experience. I had the slow roasted half soy-honey duck. The duck was perfectly cooked and was tender on the inside. It came with fresh beans, a buttery sauce, cilantro and grapes on top mixed with the sauce. Some parts of the duck were quite fatty, so I thought it would definitely be better if it came with rice or potatoes instead of a lot of buttery sauce. However, the fresh beans were great. Their New York Cheesecake was also very delicious, and the waiter was amazing.

Delicious, fresh food with an emphasis on seafood. Attentive service, NYC park ambiance (we sat outside). Fish and Chips platter was excellent!

Wonderful venue with both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat inside which was lovely but a little loud and wished we had opted for outdoors with a view of the park.
The menu had an excellent range of options all very farm to table sort of choices and so many that we will certainly return on our next visit. The gazpacho was excellent!!! My miso crusted cod perfect!! Very healthy food with perfectly sized portions. Also some excellent vegan options on the menu!!!
Convenient mid-town location and a big enough venue to accommodate larger parties.

Service was very slow. Sat with empty drinks and finished plates. Had to flag someone down to order another beverage, which took 15 min. to get to the table. No one ever checked in after food arrived to ask if we needed anything else if we were enjoying our food.
We skipped coffee and dessert because we didn’t want to wait any longer.
Food is mediocre at best.
Disappointing experience.
