“The food is incrementally better and slightly healthier than the surrounding shops.
There remains a high salt and fat taste for many of the meats especially but it can be balanced with lots of other healthy vegetables and salads.

The seating area is a bit basic but it is Ok for a short meal or if you want to have a quick lunch stop it's good.

In terms of value it is Ok but on the top side of a reasonable price.“

“This seems more like a deli or bodega than a cafe. There’s a decent selection of food, prepared as well as hot foot bar. Food quality seemed decent as well, though I did not get hot food from the bar. The Essen Tuscan was decent—close enough to a 4 ⭐️ that I will round up.“

“Came here a few times for vegetable lunch on office days. Good way to get a bunch of different food. It's clean. But pricey, currently $14.99/lb for hot food. Many tables and counter seating down flight of stairs, with gender neutral restrooms.“

Ferris Booth Commons Buffet • $
Alfred Lerner Hall, 2920 Broadway, New York

“Ferris Forever, out of all the dining halls on campus this is a solid choice. Although there are places like Brownies Cafe which serve fantastic sandwiches or the food trucks along Broadway, Ferris is an undergrad staple (esp since you can take food out on the disposable plates and take cups, bananas, and other things on the dl). Staff is always nice; food is good and all you can eat.“

“Supermarket come buffet restaurant come takeaway

Burgers, sandwiches, sushi, hot noodles, chilly chicken… this place has got it all.

As with most buffets, some dishes may be a hit or a miss

A little pricey too given the class of restaurant

Big seating area downstairs“

OMEGA BAKERY & CAFE Buffet • $
279 St Nicholas Ave, New York

“This place is so nice!! Its like a grocery store, buffet, bakery, and cafe. They had a lot of Korean convenience store products as well. I did not try the buffet food but it looked really good, the station was clean and they kept refilling it with fresh hot food.

I got two slices of cake for $13 (card) but would been $10 with cash. I recommend the chocolate mousse cheesecake.

Its also a really nice place to sit and work. Very clean and quiet.“
