We had a salad and Black Tagliolino with Seafood. The food came very quickly as the restaurant was almost empty. The salad was very good. I didn't think the pasta was that good. The tagliolino were floating in the mussel broth and were too soft. Not good for the price. As some have already written, the minimum tip is 18%. The height is not entirely unusual in this city.

What a disgrace. No idea where the high rating comes from, but they can hardly be real. The service was poor, and we felt very unwelcome. The appetizer, calamari, was okay, but the main course was terrible. A super soggy, wet actually, carbonara. When we mentioned it, a waiter said, 'That's how it's supposed to be, it's because of the egg whites.' I mean... egg whites? Seriously? The other (female) waiter thankfully listened and asked if we'd prefer it a bit thicker. Well, 'thicker' isn't necessarily the right term; we just wanted a normal, traditional Italian carbonara. Unfortunately, that wasn't understood. While the chef threw angry glances from the kitchen (no joke, he kept glaring angrily), he probably just added cream, more cheese, and high heat. The result was an even sadder carbonara. Coming from Europe, we have eaten in Italy over a hundred times and there is no way you can convince me that there's any real Italian in that kitchen.After that, the tone was set, and we were ushered away. Notable was the question 'All set?' instead of the usual 'Did you enjoy your meal?'.Then, having the audacity to add 20% to the bill and cut off the (regular) suggested gratuity from the receipt. Yes, seriously: cut. With scissors, the bottom of the receipt was removed. And by the way, if you're going to do this, at least do it out of our sight.Subpar food, lousy service, too high a price. The carbonara is a disgrace to all Italians. Montepulciano was decent.

Horrible service, our server failed to put in our meal order, when we finally questioned her when we would get our food she then put in the wrong order. When the check came we had gift certificates and they would not honor them even though we followed the instructions on the card. A very intense discussion was had, the manager claimed they were new owners and were not obligated to accept them
