Big fans of the Burger & Lobster in Times Square (TSQ). My husband and I had visited that location many times while living in NYC, pre-pandemic, as a pre-Broadway show meal. After moving away from New York for several years and making our way back for a quick visit with family, we were disappointed to see the TSQ location closed, so we ventured off to their Flatiron location. Stopped by for lunch on a weekday. Not too busy, but definitely a good number of customers. Service was prompt (not necessarily friendly) and the establishment seemed clean in all of the public areas we interacted with. Food was tasty, which was the saving grace of the overall experience at this location. Our order consisted of the - B&L Crab Bites - Combo for Two (upgraded the fries to truffle fries) As noted, the food was great! The B&L Crab Bites were stuffed with lobster, crab, and shrimp and had a nice coating of breadcrumbs to add a nice texture to the Bites. The aioli it came with was the perfect dipping sauce to complement the Crab Bites. Our main entree, the Combo for Two, was everything we love from Burger & Lobster, with enough to sample for two people! It came with two salads, two fries (truffle fries), a burger, whole lobster, and lobster roll. Everything was divine and cooked perfectly. We had some hiccups with service. I think our server was new as he did not seem to know the answers to many of our questions and lacked confidence with several things we would ask about the menu and during the ordering process. We were disappointed that we were not made aware of all of the different sauce options. We only realized there were different sauces to choose from because our waiter listed them out to the table next to us. What a big miss on his part and disappointment for us as sauce lovers! The biggest issue we had was with the upgrade to the truffle fries. We had asked how much the upgrade was going to cost, since we were preparing for it be tacked on to our Combo for Two. He was unsure, which was totally fine. He came back after checking and reported it would be $5. I clarified by asking $5 for the whole combo? He said yes. So we went for it. When we got the bill, we were charged $10 because there were two fries. When questioned, our server couldn't even talk to us and had his coworker speak to us. We were not happy as the situation escalated with the attitude thrown to us from his coworker. It was brought to management at that point. My husband had recently undergone a vocal surgery and was only able to communicate with people either through typing or writing his thoughts. Each time my husband tried to communicate with the manager, the manager would continuously roll his eyes and huff and puff with impatience as he would wait for my husband to respond. I'm sorry, that is so rude. So if you legitimately had a customer who could permanently not speak, they wouldn't feel welcomed at your restaurant by your own management team because they don't have the patience or empathy to engage with their nonverbal patrons? How disgusting. He also consistently raised his voice at us to the point even other customers around us looked uncomfortable. In the end, everything was resolved peacefully and the manager came to apologize on his own accord for his behavior. The food is really good, but based on service alone from this experience, I cannot confidently say we would return to this location in the future.

Wonderful meal. Absolutely demolished it. Lovely waitress asked if I had any allergies and what not. Moist toilette given at the end of the meal. Great experience over all. Stong drinks.

Best happy hour in the city! My wife and I were in NYC for a weekend and we loved Burger & Lobster so much, we came back a second time. The happy hour menu is priced very reasonably and the quality of food and drinks you get really stood out to us. Our barman Noah really took care of us, making sure to refresh our mojitos as we emptied them. He was an absolute pleasure and really was one of the highlights of our trip. The food.. oh god the food, where do I start. Let me just say that they know how to make a Burger, and the blackened shrimp tacos were dynamite. They had such a nice kick to them, seasoned wonderfully and were the most perfect bites. There's a reason we had like 10 orders of them in two days ! My wife still dreams about them.Noah, if you see this review, thank you so much. We hope to see you when we come back. Burger & Lobster staff really know how to keep the good times rolling.
