Such a great spot with excellent service. Was desperate for clear broth for my husband who was having surgery. No matter how hard I tried, they would not take money, gave me back my tip and were just so kind. We will back! Thank you all for your amazing kindness!

Burp is a little quiet humble Chinese restaurant with delicious food. Even my picky eater daughter told me I have to write a review. The only thing I will warn you about is if you don’t eat spicy say no spice because even their regular spicy may be too hot for the average person. We are on vacation to NYC and have eaten dinner at Burp two days in a row so yes it is deliciously wonderful and comforting soup.

Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian dishes.

Dined in and ordered beef tripe noodles and chicken with chili sauce.

The beef tripe noodles tasted very normal, as you can do the same taste at home; the noodles were not handmade, I believe. Not recommended.

For the chicken with chili sauce, it was undercooked the first time, as the meat was between white and pink and still translucent. This dish features chicken soaked in seasoned water and oil, a presentation I haven’t seen before. The taste was quite decent as well.

The food is mostly noodles with very little protein. I understand inflation makes things difficult but I would prefer higher prices as opposed to replacing protein with filler.

Very flavorful soup. Quite spicy eventhough we asked for less spicy. Prices were very reasonable.

I got the dry beef rice noodle( there’s two types of noodles the rice noodle and the yellow noodle aka noodles made with eggs). I got the yellow noodles. The dish was superb. Highly recommend. It came with bok Choy and peanuts and cilantro and scallions as you can see in the picture.

It’s a very excellent eating experience. I just found this Chinese restaurant near the United Nations, and I never thought I could get such authentic taste here. Definitely will come back again!
